Isn't that amusing. Nasim is now trying his hand at some news posting.
I should bloody well hope the PS3 tops the Amazon charts with 8 free Bluray movies. I mean come on, 8 Bluray movies? How much is that worth? Where do you draw the line between a good bundle deal and an act of desperation?
there is a VERY CLEAR duplicate story search engine in the submission process.
But I don't blame you. I blame the report system, which can take 50 reports and the story will still get approved.
They're lower resolution, presumably lowered to upload to this site. Check the originals on 1up.com, they're alot better.
that's not what they said actually. They said that "nobody really knows where the boundary is for the PS3".
That basically means that the PS3 is relatively new and they can't say for certain how much of the console's hardware performance their software takes advantage of.
Besides, the whole "what percentage of the console" thing is completely redundant. There's no such thing as a console reaching its peak a year after release. The PS2 is still showin...
I was one of those people who thought you were a biased newsposter. But posting an article you don't agree with shows integrity, and for that i'll give you a bubble.
Wow, what alot of text.
You must really hate microsoft, huh.
How's that going for you? Made any new friends lately?
that was more than I expected. I would honestly buy this game just for that feature. The fluidity and detail in the freeze function is very impressive.
I wouldn't get any false hope. Buying Haze wont turn you into an adult.
I think it might just be this site actually. I have some pretty funny and mature conversations with PS3 fans I know in person. Yet on this site they mostly fit the 14 year old boy demographic.
there's a difference. The "xbots" are saying they don't care about Killzone 2 because Killzone 1 wasn't great. Saying that you aren't looking foward to a game is a fact. You, on the other hand, are saying that Halo 3 will offer very little that Halo 2 didn't, hence the "2.5". That's an opinion.
Other people being immature isn't a valid excuse for you to do it. If you really look down on the "xbots", you wouldn't go and say something equally unorigi...
Maybe the rumour is true, maybe it isn't. I'm not going to pretend I care either way. Maybe it's because i've played a wide variety of games over the last year, but they are still yet to say anything about Haze that makes me sit up and listen. The whole "doing drugs!" aspect doesn't quite do it for me.
Then there are the endless comparisons. "we do this better than that game".
If it's really cancelled on the 360, i'll start caring when they say something impo...
In they bungie poscast they were talking about a gametype they called "rocket racers", 300% shields, checkpoints , mon[err]geese, rockets only. They said they might make it a gametype to ship with, but you can make it yourself. Player on back shoots rockets, other player drives, and you basically race. Since the shields are at 300% you can take a few rockets before you're through.
I like Halo, but i'm not willing to buy a Halo console. Certainly not for £280, more than the post price cut premiums.
Oh I see. They were quite happy to support the consumers being herded to the next media format prematurely when Bluray was scoring victories at the retail outlets, then one positive news report comes for HDDVD, and all of a sudden Playthree.co.uk care about the consumer. How nice of them.
personally, I wouldn't reccommend a plasma screen for gaming at all. It's often more trouble than it's worth, with things like burn in to contend with. Although you might get richer colour from a plasma, I prefer a regular LCD, less fuss.
well this is certainly good news, for 360 fans, but also PS3 fans. This might make Sony finally give Europe a REAL price cut instead of the "starter pack", which is frankly an insult to our intelligence. The starter pack might've been enough for some, but it just put me off even more.
yes, that's always been a complaint, we are grossly overcharged in the UK and Europe. To be fair, it's not a simple as comparing exchange rates, you have to factor in things like minimum wages and average income, but from my own perspective games consoles are big purchases in England.
For example, I can buy a 26" HDTV for £425, exactly the same price as a PS3, because HDTVs can be imported from the european union.
you're not seriously that gullible are you?
You might find it a bit difficult going straight into Halo 3!
If I were you i'd get a preowned copy of 1 + 2 (very cheap) and play through on easy (to get the story quicker). You'll thank yourself when you pick up 3!
Just because we're all watching the format war from a nerd's point of view, doesn't mean the mass market is. As far as everyone who has even heard of the HD formats is concerned, both Blu-ray and HD-DVD look exactly the same, and they're only interested in buying one of them when it's at a good price point.
Most consumers aren't willing to pay hundreds more for HD, and can you blame them? HD looks better, but not £400 better.
If one of the formats can get very cheap very f...
