UGH what horribly gimped visuals! Would of looked 20x better if it had been exclusive to PS3! I can't buy this anymore as it is too ugly to be allowed on my TV.

I'm totally excited to find out that hardware now determines how good the gameplay is. Now when I get a beefy new computer, I can play all my old crappy games but they will be 50X more fun because the hardware is 50x better. Seriously though, the PS3 has the potential to produce very nice visuals. It might be harder, take more time, more money, more people but it's there. That doesn't mean the game will be any good though. Sadly
We keep saying how any developer that isn't making a exclusive PS3 game exclusive or much better looking then it's 360 counterpart is lazy or a not good at what they do.
Valve for instance. They have stated they do not wish to publish games on the PS3 themselves. The reason being, they have tools already set up to allow quick and painless ports of their PC games to the 360. This requires minimal work and does not pull their attention away from their main platform (the PC).

A developer could create a tech demo that pushes the PS3 to use 100% of its power with nothing held back melting eyes around the world. If that demo consisted of one room of a house (not very big demo) it wouldn't even fill up a single layer DVD. Performance has NOTHING to do with how much content can be stored on a disk. Yes because releasing a game on a single platform instead of 3 is the best way to make money. You should go into marketing and business. This seems like your calling.
This game has gotten me excited. However, every time I see it I can't help but get a Fallout 3 vibe. Here is hoping that I'll be able to afford a new PC before it and Diablo 3 release. Otherwise I'll have to get it on 360 (I'd rather add to my achievements then add to my trophies since I have way more achievements then trophies).
Sad that the PS3 version was released with so many errors. Game was decent. I'm glad I got the 360 version instead. I would of been pulling my hair out just the same.

I think used game stores have more to do with this then console companies. Game companies have started putting out stuff like this to combat people trading in the games and buying them used. This way, capcom can still make money off of a used game sale where as before they wouldn't.
