Yeah but beta testing small areas for testing purposes is part of TESTING A PRODUCT BEFORE IT GOES LARGE SCALE. They plan to set up more servers in more areas and test those two in the before release. They have stated that all of the US will be within area at launch.

Its actually not the kids at the store who get it, go home and rip it. It's the people at the companies that print the disks. Workers either grab an extra disk or grab the master digital copy and do it that way. Sad but almost every single torrent originates from this. Whats sad is these people are going to kill their jobs because if we go DD pure, they won't have anything to print.
One is pre-rendered using in game assets and a lot of people look at it and think its what the game will look like while you play. The other is a compressed demo that will look only slightly worse than the final product.

For instance, the art team that creates all the 3d models and textures for a game will be done with all their work long before the game is finished. I could write a text based adventure that uses 100% of the PS3's power. I just have to duplicate lots of threads and code it really poorly. The percentage means nothing about how good a game looks. Sad to say its just marketing ploy.
Doesn't surprise me. Game doesn't look as good as its hyped to look. I think Uncharted 2 looks leaps and bounds better.
By everything, I mean what I saw of the environments in the demo. Screen shots and playback videos of the game look great. The just doesn't feel right. Extremely cheap for consumers to get into. From the demonstrations I've seen, the tech is there and will only get better with time at no extra expense to the consumer. It plays pc games. If there is a PC game that is exclusive to PC's then that game will technically be exclusive to onlive as well........
I would hope that if you buy the game you have the option to download a digital copy of the game to play on your pc as well as the option to stream it. You know in case you cant play online or something.

The potential problems I see with this are:

4: despite being the minority: people with slow internet/ dial up will either not have option of service or only stand def service.
