Could you please provide a link to where you gathered the information about a difference in resolutions and fps lock? Last I read, the two versions were to be identical besides the obvious disk difference. As far as loading though, The 360 is known for having the same/better load times then the PS3. With the game installed (an option both systems have), I expect the load times to be the same as well.

What was the point of arguing that? Did it automatically make the comments in my statement untrue? Did it magically make it so Sony is having a hard time keeping PS3 stocked? The only way a modded PS3 would be worth it is if it made it so you could play games directly of your hard drive without a disk. Otherwise, why pay for a blue ray burner and disks. Might as well buy the game.

There is no console shortage for any of the consoles right now. I was at bestbuy yesterday and there were at least 36 PS3 slims stacked in piles at the front door. On top of that, there were the normal amount of slims and 360s at their normal location in the store as well. That isn't really a indication of how well a console is doing.
