Please explain which one of those 80's icons became a major symbol because they were a girl? Lara Croft was known as a major character in the same terms as Mario, Mickey Mouse and so on. Yes there were girl protagonist before her but NONE were marketed the way she was. She became a major woman idol even unrelated to her games. That seems pretty innovative to me. Hell it went from Tomb Raider to Tomb Raider: Starring Lara Croft.

Graphics matter because it opens up more gaming possibilities. With better graphics, you are able to give developers more options about what they want in their games. What can be done, what is possible. On the original PS, you would never imagine running through a populated city with people, cars, and animals behaving as you would imagine.

How can people really hate so much on good developers on this site? As far as this game goes. Guys if you are truly this concerned over your PC game not having dedicated servers, wait 1 week from release. I promise you. Someone will release a patch/mod so the game will support it. It will probably be ripped straight from the MW1 code.
You are actually way off on your assumptions the developer was just lazy. They made the choice to put the game on rails so that they limited the user view to exactly where they want it at all times. This allowed this to push more polygons/ effects on screen at once. They made the mistake most 3rd party devs are making with the Wii. They concentrate on making the game look just as good as a 360 / Ps3 game.

Face it, despite the system and assuming the marketing doesn't suck for the game, good games sell well period. This goes for PS3, Wii, and 360 games.

there are plenty of mods that are available that require no mod chip. Just look at the PSP. If it weren't for the fact that the games are so damn big, the PS3 would be cracked by now.

May be a different disk for the different modes of the game sort of like the old version of the game. One for simulation, one for arcade, one for something else. Do I hear PS3 disk swapping in the future?
I believe 100% that if the PS3 didn't have games on BlueRay that it would be a pirate machine right now.
Every single person I know who owns a PSP has it modded so they can play pirated games. At one point, I wanted mine pirated also but never got around to it. Now I have a job so I don't worry about it.
My wife works at a game store and I would say 80% of the PSP's that get traded in are cracked.
I believe all the people who were involved with GameFan are now working with PLAY. PLAY is really good and feels a lot like GameFan.
I would imagine you still get the armor seeing as it is usable in BOTH ME2 and Dragon Age. Even if they never release ME2 for PS3, why would they remove the armor from Dragon Age. You can still use it!
Silver members can do everything a gold member can do except play games online and watch netflix. They can chat and send text messages. They can download movies and demos. Actually it is. Everything but playing online in games. Yeah that's a major part of what you are referring to but for this article, which is talking about a home clone, a feature such as that would be free and available to silver account users.
