You go to any Forza article anywhere on the internet and in it's comments section you will read how GT5 is so much better and has that feature too, so on and so on. The game isn't out yet and matches your description. Heck read below, I think someone even starts to defend GT5 in this very article.
In game chat is just a server issue where as custom sound tracks require dedicated space in memory. You prob wont see this feature for all games due to the fact that the developer would have to design their game to not use all of the memory available on the PS3. There is only 256 Mb of Memory (not counting the video ram as it can't be used for this) and I can pretty much guarantee you, most developers use that easy.
GT5 anyone?
The Hype is so big or this game, I don't see how it can meet everyone's expectations. It will be good, don't get me wrong. Just don't think it will be as good as some people hope it will be.
The classes are in working state. I say don't mess with stuff too much because Cataclysm is just gonna change all the talents anyways. However I do see this creating a very big buff, nerf, every Tuesday trend similar to when Wrath first came out and DKs really started getting used.
New water effects GOOOOOOOO
Seriously though, the idea of making the talent trees fun instead of using stat based talents has me intrigued. Hopefully it will strengthen the whole, "Bring the Player, not the Class" idea they have.
None of those are on PC. Keep your comments in the Open Zone since you obviously don't know anything.
I don't know how anyone can agree to something they can't even understand. The only part understandable was the fact that he owns a PS3 and that seems to automatically get him Agrees.....
Haha, the standard NFG sony fan response. Read the article douche. None of those are on any platform BUT the 360. Not even the PC.
They showed off Dead Rising 2 the arcade game. Its a Prequel to Dead Rising 2 and ties up the story between Dead Rising 1 and 2. It is exclusive Arcade title for the X360. Do you read much before commenting Fanboys?
New comers? Are you inferring that people who own 360's are new to gaming? That they only started buying video games when the 360 or xbox came out? You don't think people may have switched consoles between generations? When FF went from Nintendo to Sony, I said to myself, well, better get a playstation next gen. When I saw the great things the original xbox was doing I said, well will need to pick that up sometime after I get a PS2. It doesn't make sense to just stick with one system. Heck, w...
Well there are two possibilities. One: there are no fights on the world map. Two, you are thrust into a separate arena style area similar to random battles where you can run around freely to fight but are confined to that area until the fight is over. This would be similar to Parasite Eve or Star Ocean. My money is on, no battles on world map. Of course I'm guessing they also switched the world map to FFX-2 style world map.
It sounds like he is referring to FFX with a click your next destination style map. I would really prefer a little version of Noctics running around a world map. >.> I don't know why developers think that next gen != world maps
"For example, early on we tried out sandbox elements. With them we were constantly running into situations where we had to [endure] big compromises in our thriller pacing and our thriller storytelling. At the end of they day we decided it wasn't worth it. We wanted to do a story-driven game - that's what we feel Remedy games are supposed to be. "
Totally DVD related. Good job there Troll. Way to read the article and add some noteworthy incite on the topic.
Late than never? Halo 2 is still the best looking game on the original xbox if not last gen period. Halo when it was released stomped all the competition with its vast open world and sharp visuals. Until Halo 3, Halo games set the bar for what your visuals should look like.
Actually they said the doctored shots were old from old PR stuff from before the 360 version was in production but already announced. The comparison shots were taken from old material by accident. As to why they didn't release new shots? Well that's because they don't have to do anything because we ask for it. they can media blackout any details for 360 version until after release. It's their choice. It's a little scary as to why they may be doing it but I would hope for their sake and anyone...
In that article it says that Square accidentally released some promotional pics that were used in comparisons. Square doctored those and someone took them as true version of 360. That is a funny mistake on whoever did the comparison shots.
Also worth noting: Square had this to say about the matter
Unfortunately we did mistakenly include screenshots taken for pre-production (non-promotional use only) in our latest release of assets. Screenshots from the final game int...
Like with any game, I'm sure there are things that are an issue now that they know won't be by the time the game ships. They know as well as anyone here knows, if a game is leaked and the results show something negative, it can put a very dark shadow on the game that can be very hard to shake. Expectations are high for Bungie this time and they know this.
Standard Console/ Movie Player sales technique is: Sell hardware for loss (you loose money off of each piece of hardware you sell.) Sell software (Moives/games) for a profit. The idea is, the more consoles you sell, the more software you sell thus making up for loss and gaining profit. When production costs start to even out you price cut the hardware to expand your market thus increasing software sells and upping your bottom line. When Sony is breaking even on their console, they should make...
He's just surprised to see how many Sony guys showed up to bash the game lineup (not comment on how a game is looking or shaping up) despite this being specifically about 360 exclusives....cause again, Dead rising 2 the arcade game was shown which IS exclusive to the 360.
