I could trade my brand new 60 game at gamestop for 20 with them turning around and selling it to someone else for 55 or I could sell my 60 game on ebay for 40 to someone. I make an extra 20, they save an extra 15. I don't see the problem with that.
So who should you be mad at? The people who vote for these titles or the Spike? I mean the whole reason for these awards is to show the best games voted on by the people who care to vote in the first place.
This isn't a award show dedicated to only hardcore reclusive internet forum junkies. If that were the case, only the hardcore, very few sold, difficult niche titles would make the list because only the stuff the majority of people aren't playing is cool would matter.
He used to use gameshark on the ps1 but now he doesn't cheat unless you count using codes you enter on the controller in GTA.

I wonder how many people realize the winners are selected via online polling. I mean if the game you wanted to win didn't and you didn't vote, you only have yourself to blame. This isn't a small group of Spike employees sitting around playing favorites. This is the general public who care enough to do so, does. Don't not participate and then complain. And if your game loses, its because the majority of people who cared enough didn't agree with your opinion.
What was meant to be said and gets somewhat clarified in my comment later is Ubisoft never said they had issues with disk size.
I could write that AC2 single player was entirely coded by a monkey in a swimsuit on my facebook then link it as news on this site and people would take it as fact apparently. The guy in the article only speculates that content was cut and never says he read/heard it from ubisoft nor offers any proof, just speculation.

Hackers love the idea of being able to downgrade the firmware because it means they only have to hack one version of the firmware. From then on any new system or someone who kept their system up to date can downgrade their current system to the firmware version that is hackable. The 360 is doing too well in America for them to drop out. If they were a non-US company I could imagine them being pressured to drop out like the Dreamcast/ Sega did but I doubt they will. There will be a new console. My guess is it wont be called the Xbox anymore though.

All I know is that my friend games exclusively on his ps3 because he nodded it. He is playing his downloaded games online without any issues. He is even playing black ops online which is pretty new.
He said there are ways behind the firmware checks and there is even ways to downgrade the firm ware installed.
As soon as consoles started including hard drives upon release and allowed internet connections, we signed up for it. Games were coming out like this for years on PC. When consoles decided to be more like PC's devs started releasing games like they were on PC's. With patches and DLC.

I totally beat the game as a Good king with a good ending. The whole point of that was, you can be lazy and take the easy way to getting the "good" ending or you can be smart about how your run the kingdom so you are good and get the "good" ending. You buy real state early enough and money by the end is not much of an issue making running your kingdom much more manageable.

..... You obviously haven't read much into it cause that failed hack has evolved into a very stable major hack. People are running unsigned code, lowering firmware, removing checks for firmware and playing online. All while playing whatever game they want off there hdd that they downloaded.
