It will. It was an issue with the Balance board and the Wii. People would go into Gamestop and buy the board thinking it was a stand alone thing. They would have to explain to them that it only works with the Wii.
You can read my comment history and gather a little more info before you judge that.
I primarily hate motion controls and see them as gimmicky. No console bias on my part.
PS3: cgkyou
X360: DRUG5
Wii: too many stupid friend codes to list
I also own:
Sega Master System, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, game gear
NES, GameBoy (pocket and color), Super Nintendo, N64, DS. DS Lite
Playstation, PS2, PSP

What about the Wii? Only a few games allow use of a standard controller. It is primarily a motion control system. I mean that was the WHOLE point of the console. It made a crap ton of money and lets be honest. When a company sees that a product is selling like hot cakes, they assume 9rightfully so) that it is because that's what the customers want. They will make what they think the customers want and that is why we even have Kinect and Move. If they sold awesomely, MS and Sony would assu...
hows that for fixed delay response? Kinect is so fast, you lag behind it!
Translation: The people who would be reviewing these games are not the people we are gearing this tech and/or games to. The people who would read and care about the reviews being written are probably not the people this tech/games are geared toward.
I sort of understand this. Soccer moms aren't going to care what Kotaku/Gamespot/IGN thinks of the neat Oprah recommended toy they bought. They aren't that invested. These are the people that MS is gearing Kinect to......w...
I hope for everyone's sake it doesn't. Do you really want motion controls to be considered for the only option with the PS4?
That is part of what this is. To test the market. If it is a blow out success, you better believe the PS4 would only use this style of control.
Hey, another top # article....yay.
Now if only N4g would take some serious moderation stances when it comes to the process that is used to approve stories. As it is, we get tons of review stories from anything from glorified blogs, forum posts, and no name sites. We used to get tons of NPD articles too. Although since they stopped reporting publicly, I suppose we will seriously start hurting for content.
I would argue that it is more likely Disney as Steve Jobs is one of the founders of Pixar, which is Disney's bread and butter. ( I know, surprised me too),
I'm so confused. Why is it OK for Sony to throw out shipped numbers saying they are sales but when MS does the same thing, the exact same people defending Sony here are the ones who try to tear MS a new one for doing the exact same thing?
Really, what does it even matter? Unless you want to buy a Move and can't find one, or you have invested funds in Sony, why should you care how many units were shipped? Why would you care if a Sony PR guy lies....like most PR guys do...
The used it as a starting point to discuss the real purpose of the article, which is his job to write....so yeah. He was just trying to be being creative.
Peter came to epic the other day and spoke with devs there. He also gave a demonstration of Milo so they are talking about stuff the general public hasn't seen yet.
Actual tweet:
After seeing Milo in person and hearing the pitch (AND if it is allowed to fully shine) it could be like Heavy Rain and Pixar had a baby. And no, I do not know the status of the Milo. We did not discuss that.
It is better to cast your seed in the belly of a whore than to spill it on the ground

Read the books starting with Fall of Reach. Sooo much depth to the Halo Universe that will never be touched on in the games.
Why put them on and island? With that logic, you could just leave them alone and they would still die out. Kids raised by Gay couples don't turn gay because. People turn gay for many different reasons in their life that have nothing to do with their parents.
Also, you look at it like being gay separates you from the human species. You put a bunch of gay people on an island and guess what....the human race still lives on elsewhere.
Another thing. Gay people do hav...
CE has a nostalgia factor but seriously lacked on level design. It was go through corridor till end, backtrack to open area, repeat. That's all it was. I think Reach and ODST really opened up on character development and cinematics.
Campaign:
Reach>ODST>3>1>2
The piracy game is no fun. Yeah you get "free" games but at the cost of always worrying you will be banned. Either you don't go online (wheres the fun in that?) or you are constantly hoping that you stay ahead of the game so that you don't get connected with a modified drive. You end up putting more work into it than I feel it's worth. Also, when you pirate the games, you end up just not caring about them as much cause you can play whatever game you want. You end up neve...
I think even Nintendo has commented that they have over saturated their market. This is why they are beginning to release new systems starting with the 3DS next year. It would not surprise me if both the 360 and the PS3 outsell the Wii next year.
LOL, after reading the quot you posted Raz, people have to realize too; If I am a company and I'm going to hire someone to help with a project. I'm not going to want to get rid of that person after the project is done. It would be nice if that person could, after the project is done, help out with other projects, that may not be on just the PS3. It's not the end of the world that SE is looking for someone with more than just PS3 experience to work on FFVXIII game.

Now, I'm just confused. Are you calling me a Sony or MS fanboy? I've simply stated that if we don't want motion controls to be seen as the standard for the next gen consoles (maybe even the only option), then they need to not sell well. If they sell really well, both Sony and MS would have to consider making them standard or even worse, mandatory.
From my comment history, the only thing I ever bash is motion controls so you can say what you want but you haven'...
