Your logic is illogical. Prologue was reviewed at a earlier point in time. If prologue was reviewed again today it would have a lower score garunteed. So no you won't get the same experience in both gt5 and prologue. With your logic the first gt1 should be better than gt5. Is it?
I always felt like driving in gt felt floaty. Like driving on ice. No reason why I can't take a corner in a racing car that I can take in my truck at the same 40mph speed. Maybe it's a tuning thing but if that's the case why is default setup for these cars worse than real life?

I just want to know if it still has the "bumper cars" feel to it when hitting a guard rail or another car. I hated the fact that the best track times were the people who knew how to "ride the rails" or use the car next to you to keep you in line on the track while you speed through a turn at speeds that should crash you.

I would hope that if something that big of a gameplay feature is dependent on a leveling system, why wouldn't they explain that either within the game or in the instruction manual? I've read a lot of negative things regarding the menus and in general the lack of ease that it presents. Does this also appear in game mechanics too? Overrated is the wrong term to use. You see, that would require that the majority of people who play the game agree that the game doesn't deserve the praise/hype/scores that it got when in fact the majority of people do agree it deserves it. You heard from a bunch of people how good the game was and you didn't find it that great. I wouldn't label that as overrated. Not from the majorities standpoint.

True, DRE's were the big issue in those days. Back then, everyone was saying the XBOX was a tank cause it was so big and you couldn't hurt it.
