Sell it to Sony or Micro and save it for next gen.. I'll wait baby :)
Human life expectancy between 65-90 years, depending... like... on tons of.. stuff..
If it couldn't pull off 1080p in a Mario game, what hope would they have in putting out titles with amazing visuals in 1080?
Hopefully, for those who buy one, this is just a... IDK, error.
Not that I think it's gonna deter anyone though..
I hope so... but I know that image on N4G for this article is freaky. Nice.
Woulda been great at the beginning of this gen.. they cut support when? 2015? Will we be able to redownload after that? Steam has us covered, but I doubt Sony will keep the doors open after their next console digs in.
It'd be nice if they were future proofed, but the reality is they will be "next gen" for about a minute (or say a year) next round before PCs catch up what little ground the consoles will likely have over the average gamer rig and leave them in the dust for the duration of the, what, ten year life cycle they are to have?
There's always the possibility though, that graphics will look great enough this round even on consoles that gamers won't mind where th...
Damn I wish I had a kangaroo.. some day, someday.
Totally agree, but it sucks for all the developers and games under Bethesda's banner that will reap all the bad press because of their own lousy reputation. In any case i will be warry of purchases until it may be reasonably confirmed that the games aren't being gimped on my console of choice. I have the PC option, but use that mostly for non FPS, or first person games in general.
Although Skyrim is wonderful on PC just because of the amazing mod community. one of the...
Yeah that's all well and good, but when your previous games all offered DLC and you sell your game with this idea in the minds of your customers it can be perceived as just slightly underhanded. Especially when that DLC is available on all other platforms and NOT due to some exclusivity deal. And it's not as if the stuff were free or something. People would GLADLY pay for it, but they are being denied nevertheless.
And that's understandable not to release it becau...
At-home processing power will not be used to produce Avatar-esque visuals anyway. The future will be and is in all in the "Cloud." When video streaming speeds like with the fiber lines used commonly in Japan become mainstream elsewhere, then those render-farms are what will be producing everyone's visuals. A console will just be a hub for sending and receiving the data as well as the other usual media functions.
At least that's a way it could be possible in ...

I don't know, how do assassins count?!
Bada bing!
Ohhhh, that was preeeeety bad.
99 expendable, predictable security personnel on the prowl
99 expendable, predictable security personnel
Which tool to use, so many to choose, easy to confuse,
Take one down, without a sound,
98 expendable, predictable security personnel on the prowl.
Which suggests... assassins cannot then be considered soldiers?
Hmmm... allow me to consult the Compendium of Answers to Absurd Arguments vol.7 for the solutio... ackkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!....

I'd say it's a bit more.. complicated than that. Closer analysis would suggest the Wii was never really competing with the PS3 and 360 anyway.
It was really about market (casual, kids, family) and price point that made the Wii a success.
Nobody was quibbling over which to get between either a 360, PS3, or Wii.. People who wanted what the Wii and ONLY the Wii offered bought one and the ones who wanted the good-looking hardcore games picked between the ...
Easy, sell disc but full installs might be required if devs want the performance boost over optical media.
It won't happen, but games REALLY need to be priced based on their content, length, development investment as well as the consumer's Desire to Purchase Threshold, or DPT as I have just now coined the term, i.e. there is likely an upper limit to how much the average game is willing to and able to pay that retailers cannot cross with hopes of moving any respectable number of units.
Why should shi@ games cost as much as triple A games?
Oh, and screw the...
Question:
I realize that Nintendo is going the mercenary route with their console again, but does the release of a Wii U this year suggest that Sony and Micro will need to release theirs next year?
Or will they really give Nintendo a multi-year head start?
Bale...? Really..? Wasn't his horrible Clint Eastwood impression in the Batman films bad enough as is?
And Clint Eastwood might be 82 and batshi$ crazy, but he'd still make a better Snake.
It's what they've needed to do long ago. It's a waste to develop an engine for a single game or series and the Silent Hill series, despite its other flaws, could only benefit from a solid engine.
I'm not saying they should whore it out like the UE3 by any means, but it can only help.
Best way to do that is... merge!
HAHA, prepare for the NintenDONY Dynasty! May it reign for a thousand centuries!
Or SonTENDO, whichever is fine... Sontendo sounds like some lost martial art huh?
