Crazy!
"Fixed rare issue with dragons not properly giving souls after death"
i never experienced this prior to the patch, but since then I've killed two and NO souls... it displayed the absorbtion animation and text saying it happened but i cant unlock anymore shouts.
Please oh please not some kind of Halo (PS3-only version)... no one wants it.
Just finished RAGE... couldn't believe it was over, felt like I just finished a demo or something.
Waste of time.
Ding, ding, ding...
Sell a peripheral that scans/converts UMDs to the flash drive in the Vita.

Don't tell us anything...
Could be a First Person Scooper, where all you do is scoop ice cream in first person...
Or a Fourth or Fifth Person Shooter where you shoot from the perspective of the other players' groins... in 3D!
Anything is possible with the power of the snail.
Hmmm, in Uncharted 2 the only gun that I recall having a ridiculous advantage like the one displayed in the video was the Pistole or whatever, where, if you were in range, you didn't have to aim one bit... jumping through the air, leaping, running away from an enemy, it didn't matter. Always locked on, instant kill.
I did buy it by the way, preordered and disappointed.
BETA = not supposed to be illustrative of the final product, it's for product IMPROVEMENT purposes...
You realize how much like one of those "sad lonely fanboys" you sound right now...
And in no way did Digital Foundry imply, to the extent you seem to be exaggerating it, that the 360 version was superior simply due to a save-time advantage. In fact, their comments on saving in general were equally relevant to all versions of the game, as the checkpoint system is quite awful across the board.
BS... RAGE is anything but close to matching Xbox's performance here.
But despite the visual hiccups (or even downright horrible visuals at times on the PS3 version) the game has so many other issues it's ridiculous.
For me, the most overhyped game I've played this generation considering the pedigree behind its development, PC-centric devs or not.
Carmack has just lost a customer.
The one main gameplay video I watched got me... it was where the "player" is moving reeeeally slowly (which, at the time I thought peculiar, but now I understand what they were trying to hide) through the level, being careful not to rotate the camera, only strafing from side to side...
basturds...
Warning!
Game is a 5 out of 10 for me, from my initial experience with it..
Why the hell is this game getting high scores at all.. I want to hear some legitimate reasons that don't include the words "ID tech 5" or "Carmack..."
Boring as dirt.
Graphics are LAUGHABLE!!! 60fps is worthless if the textures are popping in constantly and when they are loaded at full resolution they still disappoint.
What happened to all the progress that games have made this generation and why isn't this game be...
I finally get why in pre-release videos the player was walking as though he were on rails, keeping a relatively fixed view so no one would see the constant texture pop-ins from rotating the camera...
Maybe some consider this a small detail, but too me it is ridiculous.. the game seems like it simply can't do what they wanted it too on the hardware.
The reason console graphics haven't had the, in my opinion, transcendent visual jump as with past console advances is due, in most part, to the leap in screen resolution.
Had we remained in the 480i era of gaming the visuals/effects, albeit less sharp, would have been significantly better.
Well BETA or not, I was a bit surprised at the immediate graphical hitches I was encountering.
Screen tearing (to be expected), but very close range pop-in, and low resolutions at medium range (bad even for medium range, specifically pixelated sparks)
But I'm sure the final product will be great.
PS3 version here.
RAM...
They've been pretty harmless so far for me... the tornado dragon death roll glitch was the craziest I've experienced so far.
I was attacking it in the mountains, some Hargraven finished it off and it took a slow nose dive while spinning, I kid you not, like a hundred miles an hour and the ground for a good ways was shaking like an earthquake until it finally went through the ground and then eventually popped up onto the surface dead after about ten minutes or so... <...
