Warface = needs improvement, and lots of it
They wouldn't need to "replace" it if they'd just get there heads out of their a$$es on MoH... Airborne, for all it's faults, was a peek at the kind of innovation the MoH series needs to reinvigorate the franchise.
Don't look at CoD
Don't look at Battlefield
Make MoH its own game!
Not in the slightest, it's very much a "this gen" console.
Shhhh... Sony tried that with PS3, but people don't like being "talked down to."
Rather, say something like, "we will strive to make our system's value more apparent to the consumer through our continued effort and support in the arenas of software development and features, because as we well-know, Sony and Micro's kicka$$ consoles are on the way and... What's that? Yeah, and how many processors did you say? Right. Five times the memory? Really....

Yeah great if they have THAT much time left. Thot this thing was dropping soon or something!
- Add a bridge view
- Replace the third person shi#-bath shooter gameplay, overhaul and make first person
- Streamline all buying, trading, exchanging.. whatever, into an ALWAYS-accessible menu (it's the future for god's sake, why fly to a hundred different locales just to browse...
- Give players options to add ships to their own personal AI, or friend-controlled fleets.
- Streamline screen interface and controls for weapons (for the novice users and l...
A third couldn't hurt though huh? I heard the US government is cooperating with other world powers to slow the rotation of the earth by fifty percent, essentially doubling the current 24 hour day to 48 hours. So getting three or even four jobs wouldn't be an issue and you'd still be able to get a good 8 hours sleep and an 8 hour gaming binge every cycle, it is a PS4 we're talking about after all.
Good looking, but that ROCK SOLID 18 frames per second... nooooot so good.
NOTE! Don't make the mistake of expanding the video to full screen as it more or less gives you an unrealistic idea of what it would look like on the Vita screen. Keep it at default player size and it looks fantastic.
All I know is... I don't have 550.00 to pay this time, unless I save. Depends on what they give for the price in all reality though, show us what it can do and then we'll talk price Sony.
Right! I'm just wondering how the "extra lives" the current consoles have, how and to what extent that will... detract from sales of their next gen counterparts.
Or will they be priced effectively enough to appeal to both early adopters and those who are still content with their current machine, or are otherwise strapped for cash.
I wonder how long Sony and Microsoft will support their consoles following their next gen launches.
Years?
Three or more?
Anyone think?
They do have longer legs, theoretically than the previous era, but it all depends on their respective creators to maintain that longevity.
Online service termination would effectively be the real nail in the coffin I believe, as online functionality is really the lifeblood of...
New stuff, um the hopping and shooting stuff to avoid being shot... yeah, THAT never gets old...
Game, at least with my setup, just looks a bit washed out, granted I can't touch the Ultra High settings and get playable performance (though that changes by tomorrow HAHAHAH! XFX HD 7950 on the WAY)
PS3 = pleasantly sharper
But other differences are imperceptible, at least in static screen-shots.
No idea of performance differences.
It isn't amazingly entertaining, but the mobility aspect alone gives it a nice edge and this was only a single level.
I think the game would benefit a lot from darker levels though.
Maybe ditch the whole Crysis "motif" and just make it a sci-fi shooter with CoD-like customization options. Difference being, mobility aspect, improved visuals (hopefully), and all the bells and whistles a sci-fi shooter could employ.
So far, matches are too short. Guess that's just the Battlefield in me talking. There's no time to... relish your victory.
Recoil also, no dice.
Otherwise pretty fun, grass needs work or removal. Would prefer no 2D grass objects than ones that are aliasing like bejesus.
Also, interface streamlining would help, every game could take a note from CoD in this regard (but ONLY this), it's just too messy and disorganized (Battlefield 3 ...
Console and porting politics aside... on the PC end of things, despite everything else, I don't see how it takes anything but the most minute amount of effort to add some extreme texture options, if nothing else. I mean, Skyrim, should have default texture options on PC that scale up in tiers all the way to photo realistic. All it would amount to is the devs, during the texture creation process, STARTING with the best resolution and dumbing down gradually to less powerful PC specs and con...
I realize Call of Duty was a different beast back then, but... CoD 2 on Xbox 360 and PC was fine and CoD 3 (launch on PS3) was loads of fun too, all in the pre-modern warfare era.
Oh, haven't bothered playing any CoD games any longer by the way, not since the Battlefield series, Bad Company and forward. (played, but dropped I should say)
James Earl Jones as Link... nuff said.
We already do... software/firmware updates and Storage swaps.
Not much, but better than nothing. And OS improvements always have the potential of improving performance and features.
Good as it is likely to get on consoles I believe.
