A 680 and what kind of CPU? MOBO? Memory? Add it up and then see if, at those components' respective releases, the figure you have will come close to comparing to even what a PS3 cost at release, not to mention optical drive, hard drive, and no PC will have ANY of the easy suspend and instant on functionality.

Ha! Length is meaningless almost if you've got AI in the game even half as good as it looks! You could play it over and over and take all those enmies out or sneak past in so many different ways!!
Maybe some see you, maybe you take out a few, maybe what's her face chips in here or there or she gets in trouble and you save her or "clickers" pop in between you and the other human enemies.
Lets hope that AI lives up to the demos.

Um, just click on the links and check the stock prices back to like, 5 years and 10 years. You can see the spikes for yourself (don't be put off by the fact though that the overall stock value today is miniscule by comparison, it's the jumps in value that should be of most interest to you as a prospective buyer).
I'm no broker, just an "educated" gamer looking at what appears to be a series of obvious trends.
Right. Don't think anyone argues that PCs, with the right hardware, can trounce any console, but the fact is that developers, publishers, whoever aren't pushing the games the same way.
My favorite games are on the "weak" "old" "dilapidated" consoles. :)
Actually, I've been considering buying some and selling after it skyrockets post-PS4 release now that it's so cheap.
As of about yesterday it was floating around 15 per share.
I predict, based on projections (i.e. guessing) from their previous share prices back in 2006 and earlier during PS2 era, that Sony stock will more than double by PS4 release, or soon after. Perhaps triple.

I would be exhilarated if consoles and competitors "borrowed," or rather implemented the BEST that the other has to offer in their own technology. Or even improved upon. I would have liked 360 to have a free option for playing online. I would have liked the PS3 to have a more fluid mid-game menu... interface, thing.... whatever, just not the laggy slow deal we got because Sony didn't think far enough ahead on that aspect.

While I, in my dreams, do fantasize about über-consoles light years ahead of all current technology, it has become more and more apparent that consoles, due IN-FACT to their closed nature, are MUCH more capable, or at least history has indicated this for whatever number of reasons, of being pushed to limits that most PC games simply are not (on any given video card/PC setup), if only because PC-only devs don't/can't worry about a single architecture and hardware build.

Overly complex upgrade/loadout system too.. it's silly. I could understand and justify that kind of depth in a top tier title, but free to play, needs to remain simple on some level with user choice for more complexity.
1) Streaming will solve this one day when every connection is over fiber optic and bandwidth is opened up full throttle
2) PC's have always had the luxury of backwards compatibility thankfully, so there's always that option for people
3) Wait a bit and any console you can think of and all the games for it can be had for cheap.
One of the most unique combat systems I've seen in a while and best hack n' slash game I've ever played.
Unfortunately, I've discovered I don't much care for JUST a hack n' slash game anymore :) mea culpa really, but otherwise it's a really good game. Smooth too.
I'll have fun with it a while longer though until I trade it in. Can't wait to see a next gen sequel to this.
Yeah, it just doesn't fit anymore and it really looks awkward anyway. They just need to stick with the "chain grab/grapple-swing deal and perhaps actual CLIMBING when necessary. Have Kratos dig his blades into the side of a wall or mountain and start huffing it up...
