I'm with you bro... I can't wait for BFBC2 be released. I had too much fun playing the beta! IMHO BFBC2 is definitely the better game, it has quality written all over it!
Cheers!
@Bubbles - I totally agree (for a change LOL), although it's not half as bad as XBL. If you play Socom:Conf. or Warhawk it's a rarity! When I borrowed my friends 360, I got tired of muting people every match, I was hiting the buttons more for muting than playing the damn games!
@snaz27 - You speak the truth bro, I for one, saw this coming a mile away! Everyone was all hyped up for MW2 to out do COD4, but I had this strange feeling that this would not be the case. I choose to rent...
IMO I agree with Alpha... while his statement is aimed at the quality of the game, yours is aimed at the sales of the game. You challenge his opinion with your own, which has absolutely no relevance to anything in his post??? At no point in any of his posts did he mention anything about sales.
And for the record, a good number of the millions of MW2 fans you speak of (that purchased the game), feel similar to Alpha's rant, all you have to do look at all the articles, forums &...
I for one have really missed playing the beta... I LOVED it! When February 1st comes I'll be one of the first to download the demo!
Cheers!
that people on this site get so upset about getting disagrees? I'll let you in on a little secret... not everyone will agree with every post you/me (or anyone for that matter) make, if they did, there wouldn't be a need for forums or comments!
Just say what you want to say man and state your opinion... don't worry about pleasing everybody. Don't let it get to you!
Also there have been occasions where I've actually clicked agree and it selected disagree for some reaso...
I'm not hating on any games that have (& will) come out for the 360, I would actually love to play the ones I can't play on my PC... there seems to be some great ones too. However, until M$ give me actual real value for MY money (IMO) and stop nickel & diming me... I'll have to keep passing on the XB360 experience. Also, I'm still very apprehensive when it comes to the reliability of the unit.
I don't hate on anyone that owns & is a enthusiast of the 360 only, because...
Agreed! I guess this issue has a lot to do with age & the amount of time one has to game as well.
I find the more mature gamers with a life outside of gaming (like myself) don't give a flying f**k about stats and such. One thing though... one does have to grind & level up in most games now a days just to keep pace with other online gamers... meaning you have to level up to get that efficient gun, gun attachment, sheild or perk just so you don't get own by the competitive ...
I'm in the same boat... I don't need to replace MW2 either!
BTW... I'm pumped for BFBC2 and I'm very interested in Brink as well as Medal of Honor too (depending how many issues they have on the PS3?).
When you meet someone that plays tactically as a group, add them to your friends list... that's what I did (I added 20 new friends from the beta)! Once you reach about 15 friends, you should always have someone tactical to play with, instead of playing with those other lone ranger yoyo's... problem solved!
Cheers!
Either you haven't played the beta or if you did you tried to play it like MW2 and do the lone ranger style. NOTE: You need a great supporting cast to be successful at this game!!
I have played the beta and I have played it the way you see it in this video... all I can say is that if you stick together & communicate, along with having 2 other squads that do the same 9 (if you're lucky), you can definitely pull off what's shown in this video!
Joysiq must have thou...
I completely agree with ghostspyke... the sh!t you see in that video happens very frequently especially in town areas where there are alot of buildings! Snipers have almost no effect in those areas and if you move as a group just like in the video, you have a much better chance of reaching your objective with your full 4 man squad.
I too had many moments in the beta where I was along side my teammates and we were able move forward this way (especially with a good medic in our squ...
I thought I was the only one jonesin' for this game... after playing the sh!t out of the beta. I've rarely been on my PS3 (only to complete my unfinished games - Bioshock - Borderlands dlc etc.- R&C:ACIT) since the beta ended.
You're right though it was very addicting... I had some great times with my firends playing that beta! March 2nd can't come soon enough!!!
BFBC2 FTW!
The game is a broken POS, it doesn't encourage teamwork, only camping for killstreaks. There's just too much crap going on at once and the second half of most matches end up sucking because guns are almost useless against all the choppers, harriers, turrents, airstrikes, predator missles etc. At least in COD4 you could only have one of these items at a time, it was more about gun battles than killstreak perk battles... you might as well be fighting with a water gun!
I haven't eve...
I with you on this one life doomer, the game is just awesome! It's a lot less frustrating and a lot more balanced than MW2! Cheers!
You're little low on bubbles my friend... bubble up!
@D4RkNIKON:
No worries bro I gave you a bubble back... cheers!
That's sure fire way of decreasing the Uc2 online numbers LOL! I thought the idea was to get as many gamers to purchase and play your game as much as possible, so your servers you've put so much work into actually get used!
Another problem that no one has mentioned is that it's really hard to accept x-game invites.
Lets say you've just started a game and your friend invites you to his party, do you exit your game and take the penalty or you let your friend wait 2...
The power in my house cut out a couple of times in one day (I don't know what the heck was going on in my neighbourhood that night) and I went back online to play, I got so pissed I sold the game the next day.
There's just way too many good online games out there now to be playing one that penalizes you for things out of your control.
I love the game but can't stomach the poor decision not have players join mid game and to have such a shoddy match making that ta...
Many people asked for a beta... but they (IW) ignored them because they wanted to sell more units. IMO I don't believe they would have sold as many units as they did if there were a beta.
I'm not saying a beta would have fixed all the problems, but it would sure have reduced the number of bugs. There's just to many bugs for a supposed "AAA" game. It's like all those millions of gamers bought a into the hype and only became beta testers for IW.
IW made killstreaks the main focus of the game, winning the match is not that important anymore (unless you're a stats junkie), leveling up to get better weapons is what it's all about these days. Back in the old CS days (in the first few years) winning the match with teamwork was the most important thing for the most part.
I'll bite... it's because MW was made with quality and everyone expected MW2 to be the same. Not to mention the tremendous amount of hype from the media & fans alike, many players told their online friends it's a must buy before researching it's quality? That's why it sold a sh!t load... but it didn't have the same quality as it's predecessor, just go to any Gamestop to see how many used copies are on the shelf at present.
As well, FPS seem to be all the rage in this generati...
