That's what I like about... it's the best of both worlds!
Actually, it's not so much the campaign (in Black Ops) that has me interested, it's the training mode that... (*and I can't believe I'm saying this*) is actually making me think of buying this game used!
Too think I don't have to put up with cheaters, little snot nosed kids and can actually enjoying the multi-player aspect of the game. However I will still rent it first just to make sure. I rented MW2 for 2 weeks... after a flying through the campaign (in ...
Although I don't condone name calling, you are correct in that the currency method of upgrades have been around for quite some time, as is many of these custom matches (ala PC mods).
You have to keep in mind that many here are pretty new to gaming and have only started gaming within the last 10 years. So, many of them know nothing of the old school fps'es.
just like I did with MW2.
However, one thing in this reveal that does intrigue me is the "Combat Training Mode and AI Bots".
I own a business and work for a living so I don't have time to play video games all day like other top players. Plus, I have big PS3 LAN parties every couple of months with the boys (actually I'm having one this weekend, I sent the wife & kids away) and anything with bots are always welcomed (we love Kz2)! I might ...
I'm going to test it out for the next month and see how it holds up. I've had the FragFX which was a piece of crap... I didn't bother with the Frankenstein because I hear it had the same issues as the FragFX! I also have the KontrolFreaks which work really well, they increase your aim accuracy speed by at least 30% once you get use to them! I believe the Eagle Eye will double that.
double post
that most reviewers a are sell-outs! Many of the big sites gave this game a 7 or lower, but G4TV and many ACTUAL gamers (who comment) love the game!
I hope people learn never to go by the numbers these big named gaming sites dish out... I've always felt it's related to the advertising dollars/swag/exclusives they receive from the publishers.
I'm going to buy this game too!
and they're AWESOME!! Worth every penny!
I use them late at night when the wife & kids are asleep!
I went to school with Paul Tracey and I use to go to a few of his go-cart races in high school!
Do me a favour & put your money where your loud mouth is and video tape your midnight release stunt with the dunce caps... I really want to see you get your a$$ kicked by the mob! And make sure you have the cameraman zoom in as 20 guys use you as FIFA World Cup ball LOL!!!!
P.S. You have the right to your opinion, but please try to write something positive and lay off the "this is doomed... that is going to suck..." attempts at writing!
They have to do better than that (only one track?), in order for me jump into the gaming music genre. I have never bought or played a music game in my 30 years of gaming.

Your quote:"Now could you put down the move AND the DS3 and still be able to function? Move and kinect are different. People need to stop making them out to be the same. One requires controller interaction, one does not."
Have you seen that new Kung Fu fighting game or the European version of Eye Pet, both do not have any controller schemes of any kind.
The two cameras have many things in common (Kinect is a bit more advanced with the 3D/infrared c...
I'm really tired of the UE3 now, with it's glossy, hazy looking graphics that tear up (in most cases) on my PS3/HDTV screen. It's sometimes hard to enjoy great gameplay & story when your eyes are bleeding from the visuals.
I don't think I'll starve, considering I can feast on games like Crysis 2, Killzone 3 and others that push the graphics & gameplay envelope. Just look how many games are going to be released in the next 6-12 months... and you believe I just drop $60 on an average game? I'd probably have a better time getting drunk at my local bar for that kind of cash! If it was $30, then maybe.
I didn't spend all this money on 3x PS3's & HDTV's to view average looking games & SD TV shows/movies. If I didn't care about visuals, I would have stuck with my SDTV's & my PS2!
If graphics don't matter to you then why buy a PS3 & HDTV? Why not ask the developer to make a version for the PS2/Xbox/Wii?
early on in the Graphics section of the article. As soon as I seen this statement "...considering it’s the Unreal Engine 3." I knew right there, that the 360 was going to be the better version.
So unfortunately I'm going to pass on this game... next!
It's funny you say that... Usually when I'm in EBGames (Gamespot), I usually see most of these young kids in there with their moms and they're usually buying 360 games. However, when other kids are with their dad's they're usually buying ps3 games. It's the weirdest thing I noticed the other day.
Agreed... I couldn't have put it better myself. It seems that the majority of gamers have really low standards when it comes to quality of products they purchase! They are willing to buy the same things over & over as long as they're cheap. Why?
When I was in EBGames here in Canada, I met the Sony rep & asked him why Sony was the only gaming publisher/hardware maker to treat the Canadian dollar on par with the US dollar (all other publisher's games are $10...
I'm a Canadian as well and couldn't give a rat's a$$ about playing as a taliban in a bloody video game. Good God I wish these friggin' politicians would shut the hell up, you idiots don't speak for me at all. You're the ones that start most of these f*cking wars in the first place... all for control of the world's oil.
Why don't these idiots make good on their promises and take care of the problems in their own backyards!
