Sorry, but I'm never buying another Activision game again! Something tells me that they are going to try and clone the Uncharted 2 experience in a Bond setting.
I would love to see what they price this game at? Maybe a monthly subscription fee for multiplayer?

Sorry but I buy shooters to shoot, not have the AI do it for me. Nope... I'm not one of the millions of s*****s that bought that pos game, I rented it for a month and gave that s**t back!
At least with COD4 there was only one killstreak at a time, MW2 is like a killstreak circus... with turrets, predator missiles, harriers, choppers, AC130's all happening at once sometimes! Then when all that is not in the game, they spawn you in the game with your ba...
Many gamers love COD because the game's killstreak AI gets the majority of a players kills for them. All you have to do is run & gun for the first couple of kills, then camp for the rest and the killstreak will get you the remaining kills and make you look better than you really are! Not to mention that when two players meet gun on gun... the AI rolls the dice to see who gets the kill!
I mean really what's not to love when you're averaging 20/2 k/d ratio! /s ...
I totally agree, I'm having a lot of fun playing it even though it has it's problems. The reason... it actually takes SKILL to be good at this game, unlike some games that have auto-aiming & the games AI get most of your kills for you. You have to be very accurate when using any weapon... even the noob-tube!
I can't wait until they fix the lag & freezing issues, it'll be lots of fun

From everything you said in your post, this stands out the most; "but if the software is not there then neither will be relevant".
Keep in mind that Sony owns a ton of dev studios & can influence them to create (& control the level of quality) the software you are talking about!
VGCharts says the sales are around 980,000 worldwide. Of course we know that VGC aren't the most reliable sources, however they are never too far off, one way or another.

I don't own a 360 myself but that doesn't mean I wish for their exclusives to fail. I like to see both consoles do well because competition breeds better games!
I would much rather another publisher/developer make the game because Ubisoft have screwed up the R6 franchise (with the exception of Raven Shield). Also, I really wish the game was developed using another engine besides the UE3!!! I would be interested in seeing it use the CE3!
Actually they should give that franchise back to Red Storm Entertainment!
According to VGCharts SCC sold (to date) just under the 1 million mark... not the greatest numbers for a AAA game exclusive, especially how much $$$ it took and how long it's been in development. I would be willing to bet that they (Ubisoft) would want to make a profit from all that time developing the game!

The NEW Raven studio are only a shadow of the once awesome dev studio that created the original Soldier Of Fortune 1 & 2. Ever since their original leadership left, they have been been making atrocities like SOF Payback, Wolfenstein & Singularity.

What does Bobby Kotex know about gaming? I've never heard of him ever gaming or talking about a game from a first person perspective (so to speak). I've only ever heard him talk about profits & making the business of developing games not fun.

I really hope that they do the subscription model. I really want to see what kind of suckers go for it. My reasoning is that I want to see them lose at least half or more of their fanbase and other more deserving developers obtain that audience!
