It was my least favorite of the Bioshock games, but still an excellent game IMHO. I'd give it an 8 while the others were 9's in my book. Very much a matter of personal opinion. It was generally very well received and liked by most.

Ya know why you keep seeing these articles posted? It's cuz it drives the fanboys (both Sony and Xbox) to leave 130 comments in 10 hours. Ya know that N4G is ad supported, right? Clicks=ad revenue. Think about it.

@ Zeebo314:
"Or use xbox rewards to pay for gamepass simply by playing games."

But of course don't you dare point out that Microsoft is subsidizing gamepass.

I just don't understand why anyone CARES if MS is subsidizing GP, unless, perhaps, you are a stockholder. Even then MS is ABSOLUTELY CRUSHING IT, so it can't be that. The only possible answer is jealous fanboys. Of course they will deny it, but why does it matter to ...

@ssblu "Most people only play a few games a year. To play the few decent games on the service, you have to also pay for 100s of mediocre ones. It's like the cable TV bundles you're forced to pay for when you only want 1 channel."

Most people who have to purchase their games only play a few games a year. I was one of those as well, until I got Game Pass. Now I get to play lots of different games that I never would have tried. Of course if you are spendin...

I'm pretty sure it is confirmed that the game is on Game Pass because of a deal with MLB, who is the license holder. You can perhaps fault him for not having a more air tight contract, but from MLB's perspective, they are just trying to get the game in front of as many people as possible. Baseball is a dying game and they are trying to get eyeballs. Plus, MS probably ponied up a nice chunk of change to put a little stank on Sony

Actually none of the old Forza games are on Game Pass, only the most recent ones.

I'm not sure how the lack of exclusives are hurting Series X/S sales. They still can't keep them in stock. What difference would launch exclusives have made if they wasn't stock to buy anyway. It may end up being a positive as by the time the exclusives launch, there might be enough stock to support it.

MS still has some desire to move consoles!!

I think that is the whole point. They are trying to get the Japanese market to be interested. Gotta start somewhere, as you pointed out, they have almost no presence in Japan

While SP may not be the ideal way to play, they have been promoting that this game can be enjoyed SP as well as co-op. If you are going to promote it, it should at least be playable that way. There must be a reason for this. I wasn't really that impressed with the game personally, so I don't really have a horse in the race, but I'm just curious why devs do this. Is it just easier, are they able to sell the data, what gives?

I have to laugh at everyone who's argument is that everyone is only paying $1 a month for GP. I would imagine that the vast majority of GP subs are paid for. GP's focus is in increasing the reach of MS, they really don't care if some fanboy's are willing to jump through a bunch of hoops to get their sub for $1. Most people don't have the time or patience for this, it is just another subscription, just like their Hulu, Netflix, Spotify, etc.

Different strokes I suppose. I used to subscribe to GameFly a long time ago. I did like it, but the problem I had was that the games I wanted were rarely available. That may have changed now, but a bigger selection of games that I can't actually get doesn't work for me.

I think it is obvious what Microsoft is doing here. There is really no gain for them in putting robust offerings in with GWG now. Game Pass is clearly their focus and plan for the future. They tried raising the price of GWG to force the move, but that didn't go over very well. I think it is kinda like your boss making life miserable for you at work so you will quit and he won't have to fire you.

I have Ultimate. I find the value in it and and so I get GWG games...

I honestly can't even remember the last time I downloaded a GWG game. If I want to play lame old games, I have plenty of those available to me on Game Pass. Now I personally am a big fan of Game Pass and have had it since almost the beginning, but I can't deny there are plenty of "lame old games" available there. There are also lots of great ones, which I play, so it works for me. I also accept the fact that my "lame old game" is probably someone else's &qu...

My guess is that it will come to it soon. Of course that is just a guess not at all based on any facts whatsoever, so take that for what it is worth. Not much probably!

So while I do not game online, I have had my Xbox "connected" since the beginning. I do buy some digital copies of games and I subscribe to Gamepass so those require an internet connection. I suppose I could shut it off when I'm not doing those things, but I've grown to like automatic updates and things like that. I also used to use it to stream content, though I now have a smart TV, so I don't really use it like that.

So in those respects I very mu...

@Chevalier

I don't pay for Gamepass. I use Microsoft Rewards and haven't paid in well over a year. It takes me about 5 minutes a day clicking through some pages. Worth it for me as I am at my computer for work anyway. Not for everyone perhaps, but an option.

Those are reports read online, not necessarily the experience of the poster. Different people have different opinions of what game breaking is. Personally I never had a character T pose in a cut scene. I saw many YouTube videos of this, but it definitely wasn't gamebreaking for me because I never experienced it in game. Too many people have judged this game based off of clips and not actual experience.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and experience. Perso...

Yea, that is an Activision decision not Microsoft. Nice try

1758d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

For me it is Game Pass all the way. While the selection is not as large as PSNow, the inclusion of MS games on day one makes it a no brainer for me. There are enough recent third party games available that I always have something interesting to play, and to be honest, a backlog large enough that I only buy one or two games a year now. The recent additions of EA Play and the Bethesda catalogue only add to the options. There is also the fact that I don't pay a cent for this as I use my ...
