People hate the idea of this but... yeah. Nothing wrong with it from a gameplay standpoint, but clearly consoles hold back what is possible. In no way would I actually want this game NOT to come to consoles because, sadly, that's vital to the success of a franchise for the most part these days, but I would LOVE to see a new deus ex exclusive to PC and built exactly how the devs want. No limitations. One can dream.

i can understand that. That's never been an issue in my area as there's always copies of new games in stock, whether it's halo, uncharted, fallout 4, etc. So from what I've seen I've never understood preordering. Also a perk of going digital, i guess.

It doesn't bother me on a personal level, I just think it's dumb. What's the point? Giving these publishers money before the product is even done? Why stroke their egos more and allow them to make more awful decisions?

He just started his own dev team. Think he's stated he's done with bioshock. Infinite was a great send off.
Apparently it's not a franchise until it's bastardized yearly with 1/2 of the game coming in spurts of DLC. So... yeah, it will probably be a franchise soon.

@frostypants, i think i made it pretty clear that idea was a dream and explained why that wouldn't happen these days because 99% of publishers aren't going to ignore the console crowd.
And if you think consoles aren't holding some games back for the sake of parity then I think it's time you stopped internetting for the day.
