It's all benefiting MS...
How is it a slap in the face? Did you sell your PC to buy an XBO for this game? You're just sour 'your brand' isn't getting another 100% exclusive. Grow up.
Side note: They can still say "xbox exclusive" since it is console exclusive to xbox.
EDIT
@Sciurus so you have a PC that can run this game then? If so, I understand what you're saying. I'm so used to mindless sheep around here being butthurt their conso...
A lot more money to be made on the PC side if they can get passed the 'console war'. Which is looks like they're finally opening their minds back up to.
it's still a game that's exclusively for MS systems. Whether MS made the box or not is irrelevant.
This implies that you COULD buy it for PC... but are swayed to get the XBO version because it comes with a 360 version of AW. Wha? If you have a PC, you can pretty much always find AW for $3-$5. Also it'll actually run well. If you only have an XBO then nevermind, carry on. But if you have the PC, the 360 version of a AW seems a silly reason to go with the inferior version of QB.
Seriously... played the beta. Now having withdrawals. I can't wait for this game and I was pretty skeptical about it. I can understand that people are bitter though. Hype often leaves people unsatisfied.
Yeah, be yourself and stay a generation behind... Let's be honest, it'll be another decade before N makes hardware that could handle VR.
Sadly this game will not be playable at launch. Give it at least a solid week before things can be considered 'smooth'
I'm still waiting for some real world gameplay and not this "walk slow so everyone can take in everything they're seeing' stuff we always get from devs.
Nintendo's been doing things to hurt them in the long run since the Wii. Why stop now?
The longer the Wii U is nintendo's primary home console, the further away 3rd party support goes.
Nintendo needs to release a home console that isn't a secondary console people get after Xbox or Playstation. One that third party publishers can be confident in putting games out on. Until that happens, N will ONLY be a system for 1st party games. Which will land them in last place every time. Not saying that spells doom for them, but it is what is.
It's also pretty good.
@PeaSFor
In what way is 10 more suited for laptops? It's the most desktop friendly OS since 7.
@PeaSFor
No, I caught that part, too. Still doesn't make sense.
They forgot the checkbox: "Was not the actual game we hyped for years"
at the very least it's going to make activision go back to the drawing board to freshen things up.
The only thing 'experts' should agree on is that we have NO idea how VR will do. It could flop, it could be the next big thing. But NO ONE knows, yet.
Yeah same. high settings is where it's at with the 970
This is why we can't have nice things.
"the verdict is in, we'll tell you if it's worth the purchase"
...because you played the beta?
I think my problem with the beta was that I just played it solo and probably missed a ton of things there is to do because I'm not super familiar with the setup. My experience (probably due to those reasons) was a ton of running and once every blue moon I'd run into some baddies. And they all died super easy. There was no challenge. But it's not turning me away, I'm sure I missed a lot.
Spencer is giving gamers options again. You just want your tidy 'xbox' brand ecosystem to be limited to a single box.
