Yea, that's also one of the major things that detractors of PSVR kept using as ammo against it. So it is definitely a good thing that the platform is getting its dedicated games. Playing Moss on and Star Child from the PSVR Demo Disc 2 is simply something that must be experienced. And truthfully, once you play proper VR games (built for VR) you really won't want to play them on the flat screen. A girlfriend of mine and myself together have spent some 50-75 hours each playing Tethered ...

"We Won’t Maintain Parity Between Xbox One X And PS4 Pro Versions – Surviving Mars Dev"

And this is EXACTLY how it should be... If someone goes out and spend $500 for a premium console, then it shouldn't be held back by the competitor's console. So if you're a competent developer you should definitely be able to take advantage of the more robust hardware available to you...

I agree. I am impatiently waiting to try it out as I've been hoping to learn more about it. I honestly didn't think we'd get a demo for it.

Can you please link us to the "enjoyment stats"? And please refrain from linking us to your rear end (just in case this is where you got those stats).

Here are some stats though.... Games I own for PSVR:
Farpoint (with Aim controller)
Tethered
Wayward Sky
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
Eagle Flight
Rigs
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood
GT Sport
Bound
Dino Frontier
HeadM...

@Magnetar

I think you know (or at least should know) what he means by that. I read his statement as Sony is winning on all fronts since they sell the most consoles year after year, the most games year after year, and now PSVR is also dominating as well, hence, "In every aspect, Sony is winning.."

And to your point: "It’s the lowest quality headset, with the worst tracking and the least amount of games." once again, the PSVR is a qua...

@ ImTrumPeach

20 million is 4/5 of XBox's one total sales Globally.

It's a fantasy that the XBox One has sold 30 million units Globally. I mean, even by VGChartz's own inflated numbers the math Just doesn't add up.

XBox One sales numbers by region
USA = 17.4 million
Europe = 8.4 million
Japan = 81K
----------------------------- ---
Total = 25.9 million at...

Um.. there's actually nothing to counter. I think the trap here is actually in trying to counter a completely made up argument, therefore lending it some sort of credibility. What's being shown here is NOT journalism, not even a little bit. It's quite lazy and the sole purpose is to feign a moral high ground and create a fake controversy.

Take one look at the website claiming this nonsense and you'll see countless of violent games that were scored quite favo...

Here is my favorite part about this whole alleged e controversy. Minutes before the trailer for TLoU2, I watched countless men murdered in Call of Duty... I watched a sniper extinguished at least 2 people, then chased another man down and killed him up-close with a handgun. I watched in vivid details as a machine gun tore through people on the ground forcing them to run for their lives, only to turn the corner and find that a man waiting with a flame thrower was lying there in wait.... Burn...

People kept defending this practice with by saying things like: "Oh well, it doesn't affect...

A website named "PlayStationEnthusiast&qu ot; somehow isn't able to take just 2 seconds to research PlayStation games and find out their status... lol. The level of so-called "journalism" that we see today is just astounding...

I mean, shouldn't a publication calling itself PLAYSTATIONENTHUSIAST.COM be much more informed about PlayStation related content much more than us here in the forums? Is this too much to ask for?

Lol, their agenda is so obvious and they can't help themselves. In one fell swoop, Sony has garnered all the attention once more, and at such a key time as well. And it seems that between Mario, Gran Turismo and now PGW, one company is left scrambling for attention but the vast majority of gamers simply aren't giving them any... And as a result, you get articles like this...

The funny thing is that before the TLoU 2 trailer I remember watching the Call of Duty trail...

Ah, I see what you're saying and I agree with the point that if someone made/created it, then there's always that part to consider.

But I think we're pushing for Ais that aren't coded anymore. As in, it is self-aware and self-taught (imagine a much more advance deep-mind ( https://www.youtube.com/wat... ) a very short video but in it, the Ai system taught itself to walk and run, ev...

Haha, I know what you mean, and that would be an absolutely normal 'human' reaction given the scenario at hand. But since she's an AI, we humans would interpret any violent reaction from her as something more sinister... like "Oh my Gooood, this Ai just beat the crap out of this human being who was endangering her and others!!!!". "AIs are evil inherently evil/violent and cannot be trusted", etc.... Meanwhile, almost every human being in existence is capable of...

No lie, I got chills watching the trailer during the conference.

I was worried that the game wouldn't be able to match the emotional highs of the old Kara concept trailer way back on the PS3. But this game seems to not only capture it but go well beyond it. And I feel that it's coming at such an appropriate time too, given all the new advances in Artificial Intelligence happening in the tech world. I mean, at some point, an Ai system will be able to become complete...

Yet another example of real-life application of Gran Turismo...

I know for sure that playing GT since 1998 has helped me become a better and safer driver in real life. Happy to hear that others are using it for more than just gaming as well.

There are so many games that on that list that I can't wait to get my hands on.
Also, there's a huge sale going on right now for PSVR games on the PlayStation Store, so I'm thinking of grabbing a few more titles to add to my collection of 15+ games.

Going back to Farpoint now!
