Lol, you know why. If you were trying to downplay an F1 car, you could easily bring up fighter planes and say they break the sound barrier.

@UltraNova
Hello Games definitely deserves everyone's respect (but they won't get it, for obvious reasons). This game is absolutely a labor of love from them and you can tell how passionate Sean is about this medium and specifically this game when you see talk about it in interviews. That being said, the Elite Dangerous devs may simply have never intended to have VR be a part of their game so I don't necessarily want to bash them, but I do get the point that you're tr...

I'll see if I can find my comment from years ago about this game where I stated that the VR mode is the ultimate reason why I am buying it. Turns out, I was a couple of years too early with my purchase, lol. The thought of being able to explore alien worlds while being fully immersed in VR is simply crazy to me. I really can't wait for the update!

The PS4 just released a great Fps shooter called Firewall Zero Hour. There's nothing else like it out there on any other consoles. Check out some gameplay if you haven't seen it in action before. https://youtu.be/YV4ovj2EFy...
I have stopped playing bf1 because it's hard to back to the flat screen after experiencing the level of immersion you get l with this game repudiation with the Aim Controller.

This right there is MY main reason for buying the game in the first place. I thought VR Support would have come sooner. I'm glad it's happening at all. I'll be a good reason for me to get back into the game, especially with all of the other updates the added.

Some of you guys will never cease to amaze me... And yes, I am talking to the PlayStation fans on here.

Kribwalker is a KNOWN troll and the fact that he's STILL getting THIS much attention from you guys is unbelievable. What you guys are doing is the equivalent of replying to spam emails, or one-off comment we sometimes see on here saying: "My aunt makes $7898.09 per hour working from her basement. Go to www.whateverwebsite.com to find out how you can too."...

I've been itching for a good tennis game for a while now, glad to know that this game is in the pipeline and is looking very promising.

And yes, playing tennis in real life is quite fun actually.

This is the reality of VR guys. So much for the guys in here trying their absolute hardest to downplay it.

I don't actually believe that they'll have to choose one over the other really. I think PGW was an important time for Sony to remind people that "Games" are ultimately what matters. Microsoft had spent the prior 15 months marketing and hyping up the XBox One X, and Nintendo Switch is gaining more and more momentum and this was a perfect opportunity to counter that with heavy hitters and reinforce their position and commitment to PSVR.

In my opinion, PGW ac...

I'll be honest, I am a bit conflicted about what I'm about to propose to you here because on the one, hand I firmly believe that you have the right to respectfully express your views as you've done here. On the other hand, I also feel like you have no business being here given how you feel about games of this nature.

In your own post, you stated, "Give me Ghost of Tsushima, Spidey over a game like Dreams any day.". But they&...

@GameBro

I kind of understand where you're coming from, but the Kinect argument that people bring the table is really not relevant at all here. And I'll explain why.

The Wii, Kinect, and PS Move were all specific to their platforms. Meaning that beyond their specific gaming related use, they had little impact elsewhere. Watching a movie on XBox 360 with a Kinect attached is the exact same experience you would get if the Kinect wasn't there, o...

Agreed.

Once this thing hits $199 next year and you can also pick up a PS4 for $199 as well it will be madness.

A week or so ago, I predicted that PSVR will sell some 10 million units before the PS5 gets here (I am assuming 2019). But if we have to wait for 2020, then I can see it going for 15 million.

2+ million units in its first year on the market considering its price and given that the technology was still in its infancy. It'...

Erm... I have to commend you for stepping up to and admitting this. It may seem trivial to some, but you'd be surprised at how rare of a trait this is. Anyone can make predictions and ridicule something. But it takes real character to come back and admit that you were wrong, especially online.

I respect that, a lot...

While I agree that a few more third-party devs should look into porting their games to PSVR, we must also keep in mind that not every game will have such a seamless transition as we've seen with Skyrim VR. There are some games that we play on flat TV screens that don't really lend themselves too well in VR.

So I think as more devs spend more time with VR we will start to see some very unique, new and creative ways that games can be played/experienced.

I don't know if they'll be "destroying" anyone with PSVR as you said, but them having 70+ million PS4s out there in 2018 that are all 'VR ready' puts them very far ahead in that department. Even if Microsoft were to follow in their footsteps and release a VR headset for the XBox One X, they would be starting from scratch since existing XBox Ones and the S models can't do VR. You could argue the same thing for Nintendo. Even in terms of controllers, the DualShock ...

By the way they make it sound, an uninformed person might go in thinking that this is a game where the purpose is to go around abusing children or something.

Has any of the game's critics ever stopped to think and maybe ask themselves if David Cage himself was a victim of child abuse/sexual abuse or some other form of abuse as a kid? Or maybe he grew up with friends or other family members who were abused, etc....? Because for me, I see a clear pattern here: SPOILER ALE...
