The answer lies in simple math and logic...
Forget the numbers you see here, because they are numbers for slow weeks. now let's look at some trends, everything else is selling better then the 360. Now what does that tell you if you're MS? It tells you that there are more factors that should've been considered if you really wanted to be considered a serious threat to a brand name such as the PlayStation.

ps2 130 million and counting... now lets assume to the VERY LEAST that 10% of them are die hard MGS fans, that's 13 million people. and just to be safe, let's assume that over the course of the year, 7 of the 10% buy a ps3 for the game, that's already 8-9 million ps3 sold. just for MGS4 alone. same for for GT4, so thats a potential of 16-18 million between those 2 games..... but lets say i'm exagera...
