I played the original version of BS2 on Steam a few months back, and I thought it was great. I don't really see the need for a remastered version.
I could never get into this game. That cartoony world just seems so incredibly silly. And people still go nuts about it.
Of course the US is the most important market. All of Europe does not generate as much revenue.
If you look at individual countries, it's not even close. The US is way out ahead.
You mean Trials of Topoq? It's all silhouette based because it only has RGB data to work with. There are countless ways to make it fall apart. And it does not track fingers.
The level of detection shown in this video is impossible without depth data. Do you think the MIT guys waste their time reinventing the wheel?
It's in the article. And this is a comment section for the article. Duh.
<<Who cares about just America>>
How connected do you feel to the Japanese culture? I'm European, and US+European numbers interest me infinitely more than Japanese numbers.
Is it really so hard for people to decipher obvious sarcasm?
His second sentence makes it obvious.
<<As much space as Kinect needs to work properly, it only has like two different layers of depth, foreground and background.>>
Could you at least research your facts? Just look at some raw videos of the depth footage (there should be plenty on Youtube).
The sensor has no trouble differentiating depth down to about an inch all the way back to 10 feet.

For a reasonable comparison he should have played both games on the same screen. And ideally, they should be direct feed of course.

Around 1.5m in warehouses? Sounds reasonable for the holiday season.
<<Bit more Kinect bashing, because thats what we do... well its what we do anytime Microsoft mess up, its the fashion afterall.>>
The very first sentence of this article has no less than four spelling mistakes (five, if you count the missing comma). Impressive.
The chance of there being a PS4 with 5TB approaches 0%. Unless the release of PS4 is more than ~5 years away.
When my Windows 7 has no applications running (except for firewall and anti virus), it consumes about 500 MB. That still leaves 7.5 GB for games (15 times as much as is available on PS360).
8 GB of value RAM can be had for as little as $100.
You do realize that the german version does not contain any swastika emblems? They are removed from pretty much any video game (including the very old Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade adventure game).
Like many other video games, Black Ops is heavily censored in Germany. It has reduced amounts of gore, and a torture sequence has been removed.
You cannot activate the uncensored english version on Steam. If you manage to import it that is, considering that Am...
