And 29.99 for MW2 is actually a 50% off sale. It's ridiculous.
People must be buying these COD games like there's no tomorrow.
Yes, Dance Central uses silhouette tracking. But the silhouette is extracted from the depth data.
Turn off the lights in your room, and the game will still work.
Triple A console exclusive? Will never get less than an 80/100 on average. No matter how mediocre it may be.
That's right. I'm mainly bitter for one game: Heavy Rain.
I loved Indigo Prophecy, and Sony stole the sequel away from us (PC that is). Releasing for PS3+PC would not be a disadvantage in the console war. But no, it just has to be completely exclusive.
This is why I'm glad that the platform that does release for console+PC is doing better.

Yes, and Sony has SO MANY exclusives. How on earth are they not way out ahead?
It makes me glad that Sony's policy of exclusives sees them in third place.
The games look a bit different which is mainly due to some lighting changes. But neither looks really better than the other.
Yes, a comic is certainly better than nothing, and it is admirable that they took the effort to create and include it.
However, I don't see how you can then go on to draw the conclusion that this version of the game is undeniably better, because "missing the first game is not a big deal". Uh, what?
You may want to look for good deals during the holiday sale, even if you can't play the games yet. It's the best sale of the year, and it ends on January 2.
Indeed. I'm sure I don't speak only for myself when I say that these sales make me buy games I never would have bought otherwise.
"I need to spend over a 1000 dollars to have the game looked decent or even close to the PS3 and Xbox!"

With this system you won't be "close to the PS3 and Xbox", you will be far far far above and beyond.
"The best multi-platform engine will be the one used for Rage. It will take advantage of Blue-Ray to store Mega-textures."
I'm not sure why you'd think that, but a 256 MB framebuffer doesn't have much room for mega textures, regardless of how much disc space the Blu-ray has.
And then have a sandwich.
Well, if you want to be able to move completely freely you will need something similar to this

This particular piece of equipment costs between $50,000 and $100,000 right now, so it's probably not a good option :-)
If you walk or run in place the character could move. They probably didn't implement this (yet), but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
Here, so don't say I didn't warn you when the inevitable Digital Foundry article comes out and confirms everything we've seen in the demo.

Let's see, what are demos supposed to do? They are supposed to give potential buyers a preview of the full game.
So then what makes you think that publishers would release an "unpolished" demo? They want to make a strong impression on prospective buyers, which is why the demo rarely differs from the final game. Especially not when the release of the final game is this close.
I don't understand, what do SSDs have to do with it? I downloaded the game from Steam, no discs involved.
Or are you referring to the hard disk (which is spelled with a K :-)
It looks a lot better on your setup?
So I assume you have taken a screenshot of these same scenes and compared to what Lens of Truth is showing? Please show us one of these screenshots.
Modern Warfare 2 is a fine port, it runs great even on lower end systems.
