I disagree. The graphical style seems more cartoony this time around. It reminds me more of a Halo game than of Crysis.
Something about the lighting is off.
None of the gameplay videos I've seen have really excited me. But I'll hold off judgment until the game is out.

A PC version of Killzone 3 would not look as good as Crysis.
The number 1 reason is texture resolution which is freaking pathetic in Killzone. Just look at the very first picture in the article. Notice how blurry the clothing textures are? Most of the game is like that.
Then you've got medium detail environment geometry etc.
So no, a PC port of Killzone would not match up to Crysis.
Well, visualb, I don't know about you but I developed something like a bond towards Wrex during the game. I spent a lot of time talking to him, had him on my missions etc.
Seeing him survive or die was a very big deal to me.
How exactly can a short comic replace this? Sure, you get to pick what happens to him. But why would you even care? You know practically nothing about him, he's just a big toad in a comic. Who cares whether he lives or not? And wh...
They look identical except for the gamma curve. IGN is just as bad with this as Lens of Truth.
If they had properly matched the gamma on these shots both versions would look like twins.

A lot of people don't need to buy an OS or keyboard+mouse when they buy a new machine. When I buy one early next year, I'll just re-use my existing copy of Windows and keyboard+mouse.
But even if you do include it in the cost: a Windows PC does *a lot* more than play games. Or how's Photoshop working out for you on the 360?

Want my money? Then do it like Microsoft and release on PS3+PC. I bought games like Mass Effect 1 and 2. LOVED them. But would I have bought a 360 just to play them? Of course not.
