If he stops spreading out his fingers, the software fails. If there is any part of his body behind the fingers, the software fails. If there's little light in the room (such as in the DaVinci video), the software fails.

This is quite obviously PC based.

It doesn't have to be open world.
Being able to actually land on planets and explore them made the first game feel so much bigger and less restricted than the second one.

I hated the elevator scenes, that was just annoying as heck.

But driving around in the Mako gave the game a sense of epicness that just wasn't present in the very level-based corridor-ish Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect 1 felt more large scale to me.

And this car is supposed to be physically possible in real life?

They explained four of their techniques in an article a while back.
One of them is a survey among hundreds of retail stores which is then extrapolated.

Seems about right unless you think Kinect didn't move consoles at all.

His point was that the amount of players in MAG is only possible because the graphics don't take up that many resources.

I tried the multiplayer in some of those new COD titles, but they are a joke compared to Battlefield 2. I hope for a worthy successor to that game.

If Half-Life 2 is boring and repetitive, then there is no way you make it past the 2-hour mark in any other game.

The levels in Half-Life 2 are VERY diversive all the way to the epic cliffhanger endig.

I think the only FPS that comes even close to Half-Life 2 is Bioshock.

I'm not sure how you can name Halo in the same sentence as Half-Life 1 and 2. But I guess I agree with 2/3rds of your post.

Like in most games, the trees are indeed 2D. They are made up of perpendicularly overlapping sprites with alpha cutout opacity.

They gave away about 3,500 during the Burger King promotion. Clearly that accounts for most of their sales.

<<How do you caculate which individual user bought more than one controller?>>

How about you read the article? They surveyed PS Move owners and came up with an average of 1.55 Move controllers per owner.

<<I certainly don't believe everyone owns 2. So taking their sales base and dividing by 2 makes no sense. Just a guess but I would divide by 1.6 >>

Which is almost exactly what VGChartz did. They went with 1.55

We don't need to count the headstart. By year's end Kinect will have passed Move.

Shift 2 won't be 30fps from where I play it. Nuff said.

<<Use your head all numbers both companys give are numbers sold to retail.>>

I'm sorry, but how about you use yours? Microsoft is publicly traded on the Nasdaq. All information within a press release HAS to be factual.

So why did they report sell-through data even though they usually report shipped numbers? Probably because at the moment Kinect sales are bottlenecked by how quickly they can be produced. In other words: The shipped number is ba...

Of course these need to be differentiated. What's so surprising about that?
