If the current build of The Division is maxing out PS4/PC/XB1, then what was the original version of the game maxing out? Was the original gameplay footage of The Division maxing out hardware from the future that doesn't even exist yet? Because it looked a hell of a lot more impressive than the downgraded mess we have today.
lol @ the disagrees
Anyways, we'll probably see shares for other companies being sold over the coming months as well given the extremely fragile nature of the global economy and stock markets right now. The general message coming out of Wall Street right now is "Sell everything!" so I wouldn't be surprised to see more shares being offloaded from various companies. There's a chance we could be seeing another global financial crisis this year.
The sad thing is that a lot of people are having an argument about which console is more powerful without stopping to think that maybe both console versions of The Division will have performance problems. I wouldn't be surprised if the PC version ran poorly either, Ubisoft doesn't have a great track record when it comes to this kinda thing, do they?
There's been plenty of multiplatform games that have struggled to run on both the XB1 and the PS4. Examples are Assa...
The whole situation is completely ridiculous but despite the stupidity of both the parent and child here, I think the worst part of it all is that a full-price retail game such as FIFA is crammed full of the kind of microtransactions that should be relegated to free-to-play games only.
If anyone comes out of this mess looking bad, it should be EA first and foremost, but they're not mentioned once in the article. It's about time they got dragged through the mud in the ...
I think the lack of third party support has been a direct result of Nintendo's bizarre choices with console hardware. Is it any surprise that third parties don't port their games to Nintendo consoles when they're not only significantly less powerful, but also reliant on gimmicky controls, be it the Wiimote or the touchscreen tablet of the Wii U.
If Nintendo released a console that was of comparable power to the PS4/XB1 and also just used a standard controller, thi...
Nintendo really struggles to support their consoles with software. They were quite open about how the transition to HD with the Wii U was really hard for them and it shows with how infrequently they put out software, so I've no idea how they're going to manage to support the NX at this rate. It's painfully obvious that they should exit the hardware market and focus solely on software, but whether they're willing to swallow their pride and focus on their strengths is another ma...
Yeah. I could pop my PS2 discs in and play them without any hassle, it was great.
How do you know that he hasn't tried the game? He could have played the Episode Duscae demo and been disappointed by it.
Tangiers hit funding troubles and the developers have been silent for a long time now, the game will probably end up being vaporware. As for the others, I'd say that Rainworld is my most anticipated, especially since that developer is managing to accomplish some truly impressive feats with the AI of that game. Really fascinating to read the dev log.
Yeah, they're taking advantage of their domination of the console market and it's disappointing to see the humble Sony of the PS3 era fade away while arrogance and greed make a return.
Having said that however, if they went to the trouble of bringing a 1080p version of Killer 7 to the service I'd likely buy it.
Yeah, I wish they'd open up PS4 UI customization so we can tidy things up if we want. I really don't see the harm in letting us set our own wallpaper and I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to remove/hide a lot of the apps either.
So you were just ranting away about this mysterious group of people who apparently don't exist for no reason whatsoever? lol you're insane.
@guyman
I said frame-pacing. Try to do a better job of reading next time so you look like less of an idiot.
Also, they're not imaginary, they're cold hard fact as you can see here: http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
Nobody in this comment section has said that Bloodborne is coming to PC, so who are you even arguing against? Talk about having a thick skull...
lol why would anyone not want to play Bloodborne at 60fps and without any of the framepacing issues? This just goes to show who the fanboys are, because they get so upset at the idea of the game being on PC, while those of us who are actually real fans of the game love the thought of getting to play it at the best possible quality.
It's so dumb and pathetic how fanboys will argue to deprive themselves of a great experience just because they love some faceless company and ...
Some of us already own the game and want to see it on PC so we can finally fix the framepacing issues and play it at a better framerate.
And? I'd be interested in hearing what kind of point you're trying to make here, unless you're saying that it's okay for one game to be broken because some unrelated game from 2008 is also broken, in which case I'd say you're being ridiculous because there's no excuse for any game being broken at launch, let alone still having issues this long afterwards.
"best support I've ever seen"
"the support has been some of the best this generation"
"support is better than any game in hostry"
Well, that sure is one way of putting some positive spin on the fact that a game that launched back in 2014 still has bugs that need fixing. Jesus.
If you have the self control to not only avoid preordering, but also buying games at or around launch, you can also avoid a lot of the hype trains for releases and wait until the dust settles afterwards (and the game is fully functional) to get a better idea or whether it's actually any good or not.
I've lost track of how many times games are hyped like crazy and everyone buys them at launch declaring them to be the best thing ever, only for general consensus a few mo...
Yeah. All versions look bad, and it's pretty much guaranteed that both console versions will run poorly as well. Maybe PC users can brute force some decent performance with overkill hardware, but I suspect even that version of the game is gonna be a mess as well.
The game looks an absolute joke in comparison to the original "gameplay" reveal, almost like an entire generation of difference. This is what you get with Ubisoft games however so nobody should be surpr...
