Haha, I have no idea why people are disagreeing. Multiplayer was free on PS3 and PS+ was optional, I'd like to see that happen again on PS4.
I guess some people just really like throwing their money at something that should be free? The most extreme of fanboys, I guess.
They could start by making online multiplayer free again.
I would love to see Sunset Overdrive come to PC. I've been dying to play the game ever since it launched last year.
Ain't that the truth. Between this and the Mad Max trailer you know that these guys prioritize fun and gameplay over making the fanciest textures or lighting effects. Nice to see a studio that gets game development right, rather than a bunch of washed-up film school dropouts who only care to make a $60 movie.
Not at all. Go look at their earnings reports, they generate much less revenue from that stuff than they do video games.
If you look at a financial breakdown of where Konami makes money, you'd see that they actually make the most profit from video games. There's no way they're cutting back on that. I wouldn't be surprised if Konami wanted to pump out Metal Gear Solid games regularly and Kojima was fired because he wasn't willing to do that.
Well, my two biggest criticisms of what you said are as follows.
Heists & Jobs: If nobody would play them any more, that means that people don't find them very fun which is a failure on Rockstar's part for bad game design. You know, a while ago people would happily play games online because they were fun, not because there were unlocks or something to grind towards, but because they were genuinely fun. If the only way to maintain an active playerbase is by making ...
The only reason Rockstar patches these things out is so that they can sell their ridiculously priced Shark Cards to people. If everyone in GTA Online had infinite money it would not negatively impact the game at all, but nope, gotta make those microtransactions desirable...
Have either of you actually played Titanfall? I just ask because if you have, it should be glaringly obvious.
I mean look at Batman for example, and how that had a similarly huge impact with it's melee combat systems being replicated in games ranging from Shadows of Mordor to Uncharted. You're seeing the same thing happen now with games such as COD and Halo cribbing movement systems from Titanfall as well. Look at the original Modern Warfare too, and how so many games...

PS4 owner here that has a lot of envy for anyone that can play the game not only with graphics like that, but also at 60fps. I wish I had a powerful PC because although GTA5 is nice on console, it really is disappointing when driving fast and the framerate starts to chug in the low 20s. When a port of a PS3/360 game can't even manage a steady 30fps on your shiny new console it certainly makes you question if the money was worth it.
I think being Xbox exclusive was the main issue. The game was obviously great and truly revolutionary (just look at the huge impact it's had on other games as proof of this) but not being on PlayStation left a huge chunk of gamers never getting to experience the game and writing it off because of that, regardless of how great it actually was. I played the game on PC and as far as I'm concerned the hype was warranted, it's easily one of the very few truly "next gen" games...
People wonder why the games industry is the way it is these days, with terrible games that sacrifice gameplay for nice graphics and marketing/advertising that deliberately misleads consumers with supposed "gameplay" footage that is lightyears beyond what the actual games look/play like and only results in crushing disappointment when these titles release.
Then I look at comment sections like these that are full of people whining about graphics, and suddenly it all m...
You're forgetting the excellent Formula 1 game that they released for PS3 not long after it launched. Then they released Wipeout HD a little while later and then released a huge expansion called Fury (which was basically Wipeout HD 2) a little while after that. Then they had to make a Vita game which didn't bode well for the studio, unfortunately.
So when you think about it, they actually had a pretty solid and consistent output. The problem was Sony put no effort int...
Hahaha. The possibility that the game is bad just doesn't even enter consideration here, obviously the reviewers have to be biased.
Some fanboys really are laughably pathetic. Everyone I know who's played the game thinks it's utter garbage, it's only on N4G you'll see the truly delusional screaming about how it's really 10/10 and apparently the best racing game in years.
I don't think preordering EA & Ubisoft games is a good idea.
I really wish they would rerelease Marvel vs. Capcom 3. I'd love a new entry in that franchise as well but everything seems to have gone downhill since Disney acquired the license and told Capcom to pull the games from sale.
@oasdada
So what if the graphics don't look impressive? All the games that have launched on PS4/XB1 with impressive graphics have been terrible, so I'd rather see developers put the focus where it matters: gameplay.
If all you care about is graphics then go waste your time playing garbage like The Order or Ryse.
Well the handling and physics are just awful. They lack the sheer fun and thrills of an arcade racer and the challenge and reward of a simulation racer. Instead, the physics just sit in an uncomfortable middle ground of the two which results in one of the most dull driving experiences in the genre.
The AI is also abysmal and seems to lack any awareness of the player. This isn't from reckless driving either, but simply sticking cleanly to the racing line and braking where ...
Seems ridiculous that Valve gets 75% of the profits, and the actual content creators (the developers of the game and the developers of the mods) then have to split the remaining 25% between themselves.
When did Valve get so greedy?
Differences among <insert any IP here> games are skin deep.
