One of the best things about this console generation really, is that a lot of developers seem to have discovered color again. It's really nice to see so many bright and vibrant games released.
Can't comment on Forza since I've never played it but DriveClub is one of the worst racing games I've ever played. It's absolutely terrible and I feel sorry for anyone that gets duped into buying it. If anyone's seriously on the fence then just try the PS+ edition of the game (it's basically a demo) and see for yourself how awful it is.
Yeah, I really hope it's another Souls-like game. A sequel to Bloodborne would be great, but they could just as easily do another brand new IP again. I'm hoping that the rumors of a sci-fi game are true, to be honest. I'd love to have a Souls-like game where the central hub is a spaceship, and from there you go to different planets and fighting all sorts of nightmarish creatures with the same traditional melee combat the franchise has, but because it's a sci-fi setting they co...
I'm definitely jealous of him, how can you not be when you know the guy is making millions for screaming disgusting rape jokes all day? It's just so absurd. Maybe his more recent videos are different but back when I checked his channel out I watched two or three videos of him playing this 2D physics-based game (kinda like Trials) and sat in utter disbelief as my eyes glanced at the amount of views these videos had while my ears were bombarded with rape jokes and screaming.

I'm really interested to see how they'll go about doing this, if they'll provide some kind of level-editing software for people to create with, or perhaps some kind of in-game editor (like Halo & Far Cry) or if they'll just say it's supported, but people have to jump through a whole bunch of hoops with various programs and figure it all out themselves.
People create levels for Team Fortress 2 by using Valve's own Source engine for example, and peop...

If the game turns out to be bad (or you regret your purchase for any other decision) you can just get a refund, no questions asked. Of course, you still can't trade the game after you've played it, but major PC gaming storefronts like Origin and Steam now offer refunds if you don't like games, or they don't work properly etc.
Actually waiting for consoles to play catchup here, since Sony & Microsoft should also offer refunds for ...
And that's how you know that any developers who say that they're "targeting 60fps" when their game currently runs at 30fps are talking complete BS. They'll never make that jump from 30 to 60. If you want your game to be 60fps, you have to design it around that from day one.
The old gameplay mechanics of Uncharted fit the multiplayer as well, but they've ditched them to turn it into The Last of Us mixed with Destiny.
So if you follow this trend of ND's multiplayer designer copying other games, you can expect The Last of Us 2 to abandon all the great tactical tension and slow pacing to become an explosive action game where you swing around levels like Tarzan while wallrunning along skyscrapers on the backs of mechanical giraffes.
If you find it hard to judge gameplay footage then try holding a dualshock in your hand and pressing buttons while you're watching it. Gameplay is gameplay, doesn't matter who's in control of the character on the screen, it's a perfectly valid way to assess gameplay mechanics and whether something looks good or utterly retarded.
Unfortunately in the case of Uncharted 4, it's the latter. I really wish that Naughty Dog would replace their lead multiplayer de...
Probably because Bloodborne actually has gameplay.
That gave me a chuckle as well. What was even more surprising however was seeing GTA5 win the award for best online multiplayer. That one really had me scratching my head.
COD games always have a lot of content. You always get a singleplayer campaign that won't be terribly long, but packs a lot of excitement and action in what, 8-10 hours? Then you'll always have the dedicated co-op modes as well, and multiplayer is always fleshed-out with a huge amount of maps, modes and gear to use. People have always wondered why the COD franchise is so popular and I think a big reason is that people always know that they're getting a lot of content for their mon...
I think one thing people often overlook when it comes to Macs is that a lot of people like them because of how reliable they are. You're paying a hell of a premium for it of course, but that reliability is a cherished feature in creative fields.
People like to trash talk the COD franchise but they really are some of the most technically impressive games on console. What they were doing last console generation at a rock solid 60fps while most games were stuck at 720p and not even consistent 30fps was impressive enough, and the Black Ops 3 beta was one of the most visually impressive games I've played on my PS4 so far. The game was a rock solid 60fps at 1080p and really did have some beautiful graphics as well. Really sharp texture...
Bingo.
Games do cost more money to make now, but their profits have absolutely skyrocketed as well. Microtransactions are nothing but pure greed.
It's because all the masks can be earned in-game, except for the one that is arguably the best, which can only be earned by purchasing microtransactions.
The real kicker here however, is that buying microtransactions only gives you a chance at unlocking the mask, and Destiny's RNG being what it is, a lot of people would have to pump a lot of money into these microtransactions before they got lucky enough to get said mask.
On top of all that (yes, it a...
Yup, same with Uncharted and all the microtransactions in that and past Naughty Dog games being okay as well. So many people will defend microtransactions to the death if it's for one of their precious exclusives, but the second a multiplatform game such as Destiny or Evolve has them, they soon enough change their tune and magically adopt a more level-headed approach to the topic.
At least people like Foxtrot are consistent with their beliefs and call out BS regardless of...
People will keep doing it because they know that Bungie won't permanently ban them.
I imagine you'll be able to play the game with VR support on PC just fine.
Naughty Dog can't :p
