I hope this inspires Sony to actually release games during the holiday season from now on. It sucks to have nothing to play at this time of year because Sony only wants to give us games in Spring. What war and destruction? Every time I played Battlefield 4 it was an incredibly dull experience. You spend so much time getting to the actual battle and by the time you do you just end up getting sniped by someone randomly hiding on a hill somewhere, and then you rinse and repeat.

Over here GT5:Prologue launched for less than budget price, so I didn't think the cost was much of an issue really. It was notable for being a colorful apocalypse as well. Whereas most games (as well as movies and TV shows) set their apocalypses in dreary brown/gray wastelands, The Last of Us broke the mold and showed a beautiful apocalypse with a world slowly being reclaimed by nature. Enslaved did something similar as well and it was refreshing to see in both cases.

This is why having to pay a subscription to play games online (be it PS+ or XBL) is so absurd. What are any of us paying for here? Neither Sony or Microsoft do anything to earn their subscription fees, it's basically a stupidity tax.

The weird thing is that PewDiePie is the one that seems to be getting pushed for this subscription service, but his main audience is too young to have a subscription to anything online. I hope this finally gives Bloodborne a background on the PS4 dashboard. Most games have backgrounds and play a little music when you select them, but Bloodborne uses the generic blue PS4 background which kinda sucks. Small niggle but it would be nice if they updated that to match other PS4 games.

Yeah, a lot of people hate the frame-pacing issues and Digital Foundry did a good article explaining the technical problems of the game quite well. Of course on N4G you'll get the trolls pretending that nothing's wrong but yeah, it's a huge problem and really frustrating.
They kinda improved the problems a little bit with a patch, but it's still quite bad and unfortunately the Dark Souls 3 beta had the exact same problem as well, so it's probably an issue ...

It's probably because Microsoft had a big exclusive and Sony didn't. If Uncharted 4 hadn't been delayed until Spring we would have seen some very interesting results, but as it is Microsoft have been pumping out games and Sony's just relying on multiplats that people can play on Xbox anyways.
I mean look at your Battlefront example, people can play that on Xbox right now whereas those of us on PS4 are stuck waiting because Sony won't let us have EA Access....
