Uncharted multiplayer never had any issues with one-hit melee kills. Also, how could they add the ability to roll out of melee in UC4 if it was already possible in older games? A lot of your posts come across as someone who's desperate to defend any criticism of the multiplayer in Uncharted 4, but you're woefully ignorant of any of the actual details of the multiplayer in the franchise. You say a lot of things that are flat-out wrong which means that you obviously didn't play the ...
That's a myth.
Servers are still needed to coordinate matchmaking and handle player stats etc. for every multiplayer game. That's why games that rely on p2p networking have still been shut down when the master servers were taken offline. Examples of this are SOCOM, MAG, Burnout Revenge, Chromehounds etc.
lol. Titanfall not having a singleplayer campaign is terrible but it's totally okay for Battlefront to do the same? Gee, I wonder why...
It's funny as well because Titanfall has a lot more content than Battlefront does, and yet somehow Titanfall is the game that needs the SP more? I think there's other factors in this, such as which platforms Titanfall is available on compared to Battlefront, we all know that's the real reason you're giving one of these ga...
The same guy who was in charge of Uncharted 3 multiplayer is in charge of Uncharted 4 multiplayer design. That's where the problem lies, the guy just has no idea what he's doing.
All of this just makes the lack of multiplayer in the Nathan Drake Collection even more painful. We could happily be playing Uncharted 2 multiplayer if they hadn't cut all that content to rush it out.
"trolls go nuts when none of them have PS4."
The trolls are probably laughing at all the bad news, it's those of us that were looking forward to the game that are upset.
Yeah, I'm really interested to know if it's just the raw models or also UV maps & textures etc. and maybe rigging and animations? Would be phenomenal if it actually allowed for all of that to be carried over.
The funny thing is that when they first unveiled it, I honestly thought it was purely for doing 3D sculptures and making some simple short animations. It looked beautiful but also like more of a $15-$20 PSN curio than an actual proper release. The PGW present...
Yeah, that's a bombshell for me personally. Being able to export stuff into Unity is really exciting because of all the possibilities that it will open up. I was already excited about Dreams after the initial reveal, but all the recent news from PGW has rocketed the game to being at the absolute top of my most-anticipated list. It really is shaping up to be something truly special.
I haven't played the last couple of COD games but they used to ship with about 16 maps before. That's probably part of why they were such successful games, because they always had a huge amount of content on the disc. The matchmaking was always good about cycling through them and preventing repeats as well, which did a lot to stop the games getting stale. This was all the way until Modern Warfare 3, anyways. Maybe it was different with Ghosts & Advanced Warfare, I didn't play ...
I'd say it's pathetically low, to be honest. The average should be around 15, and definitely no less than 10. Still, I'm sure they'll have plenty of DLC and a convenient season pass to take care of that.
Anyone who's actually put a decent amount of time into playing Uncharted and TLOU online knows just how desperately those games needed dedicated servers, especially since Naughty Dog's matchmaking is terrible. I don't believe for one second that there were so few people playing online that they needed to constantly match people from the opposite sides of the world. Even Call of Duty games offered better connections.
As for dedicated servers, they were actually the...
I thought asymmetric multiplayer was where the players didn't need to be online at the same time?
Examples of this would be the Autolog feature in Need For Speed Hot Pursuit in 2010, and the RiderNet feature in SSX in 2012. You played these games online against other people, but you weren't online at the same time. It was really cool actually. DriveClub tried to copy AutoLog as well but didn't do a very good job, still confused as to how they screwed that up five ...
The problem with Ascension was that all the talent behind GOW3 was busy working on a new IP instead, and then Sony canceled it and fired them all. Still, the first level of Ascension was great at least and made a wonderful impression, but the game completely fell apart after that and became incredibly boring, which is something you should never have to say about a God of War game.
My guess is Drake sees his brother die and decides to retire from treasure hunting for good. They're calling it A Thief's End after all and I doubt that they'd kill Drake.
I guess they could kill Sully, though. Again.
"PS4 is on a whole another level! And it's only gonna get better with PSVR and new AAA exclusives!"
What's that got to do with Battleborn?
I like how chaotic and colorful it is. Wouldn't feel comfortable giving money to Gearbox, though.
Naughty Dog never listens to feedback. Just look at how they ignored all the Uncharted 3 beta feedback from those of us that played and gave it, or the feedback from the patches that ruined Uncharted 2 multiplayer, or the feedback for the pay-to-win garbage that ruined The Last of Us multiplayer. They simply don't care, their greed takes priority over everything.
You're arguing against facts lol. Unless you're seriously going to try and pretend that never happened? I'll assume you're joking rather than trolling, because the latter would be really sad.
Good to know our yearly PS+ subscriptions are doing absolutely nothing to improve multiplayer gaming like Sony claimed it would. Even the quality of PS+ "free" games has declined. You'd think that locking multiplayer behind the PS+ paywall would get us dedicated servers for some of the big exclusive games at least but nope, just one big ripoff.
As for Uncharted 4 multiplayer well yeah, it's disappointment after disappointment. I'm sure that the singlepla...
Yeah, shame they nerfed the drop rate for strange coins so much.
