I said it before and I'll say it again - the people that were and still are screaming "consumer rights!" in regards to Microsoft are the same people who either defended Sony or did nothing when OtherOS was removed.

Pretty sure that low income families (and countries, for that matter) are going to choose food, shelter, and clothing instead of worrying about next-generation gaming.
Microsoft has definitely shown more in the exclusive, full production budget type games. Sony didn't show as many, but they do have some future titles in the pipeline and increased indy support.
It's a win-win for people who want different experiences on each console.

This whole "it was only one hour" argument only proves that people will believe a rumor if it serves their purposes.
The rumor was from an anonymous poster on an anonymous posting board. I could write my own. Anyone could. It doesn't make it true.
It could be true, but the fact that it is unconfirmable should be factored into the equation instead of the peanut gallery repeatedly quoting a rumor.
I'm all for indies, but seriously - the LIVE independent section was partially good, but most of it was a bunch of either ripoffs of already released indies or simply crappy games. You really had to wade through a lot to find a decent title other than the already famous ones. Basically, it's the Apple App Store.
The press might have gotten some looks that we didn't. Either way, Remedy is pretty reliable.
I like more of the games that I've seen in action for the One better than the PS4 games I've seen in action. That is worth something and must be considered as a selling point alongside hardware specs and cost.
That said I'm still getting both. I wouldn't dare miss inFamous Second Son.

Naughty Dog has to be the best developers in the business right now. I can't wait to see what they'll do with more powerful hardware and options.
This looks better than 3 for sure. I really hope that the controls are tighter than before. I know that some said the weightiness felt more real, but it was off-putting for many.
And many other developers make worse games than him. The point is that his vocal opposition is bloggers and forum commenters who have never made a game in their lives.
