"Xbox One is doubtful to run BF4 at 1080p/60. Not unless it's at the lowest settings possible."

You do realize that a PC with comparable memory, video card, and CPU can run BF4 at full settings, right? And the game will be optimized for the One's hardware, so I have no logical idea where you're coming up with your claim.

Wow was that study bad science or what? First of all, they deliberately exposed 13-15 year olds to Manhunt, which SAYS ON THE BOX that it is not a game for them. Then they measure stress levels. I don't know about any of you, but Manhunt was a stressful game without the violence. Add in the violence and the fact that 13-15 were playing (and I can't say this enough) A GAME INAPPROPRIATE FOR THEM, then added stress levels should fall under the "no shit" category of findings. ...

I like 2 a little better simply because Breach was my favorite game mode. However, 2 had far more latency issues and they completely screwed up the AK-74.

This is amazing news! Long time (and suffering) SOCOM fan here. Thus the question forms:

If indie developers end up making a better SOCOM game than multimillion dollar efforts from Zipper and Slant Six, then what the hell was the problem before???

They're making adaptors, you know.

Ehhh... I've never been a Polk fan. There are way better options for way better prices, at least in terms of car stereo equipment.

The G3 from COD4 was sick. I miss the hell out of that gun.

I hear you, 2cents. What people fail to realize is that prior to launch, they can change every one of their policies an unlimited amount of times. It wouldn't be wise, but they are within their rights. However, upon release, they can't do that as easily.

Why don't we just wait for the damned box to come out first before we crucify it?

Well, the main problem there is that you or somebody you know broke it. It didn't fail from natural use or defect - it was broken by a person, accidentally or not. Therefore you should be responsible to replace it. And since Kinect is considered to part of the system, rather than simply a peripheral, it's the same as if you dropped the console itself.

@paranoid1971

From the article:

"This initial install will require an Xbox 360 Hard Drive or an external 16GB USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of free space. If using a USB flash drive it must be at least USB 2.0 with a minimum 15mb/s read speed and formatted for Xbox 360 use."

So you need a thumb drive, but at least you can still play it.

Well if you still have your Xbox, these games are on sale for Gold AND Silver members :)

I understand Microsoft wanting to limit the amount of indies on their service, but as usual, they do it in the least sensible ways. However, just looking at the indie "problem", there are waaaaaay too many clones, ripoffs, and barely functional games on the indie marketplace. It's hard to find the truly good ones that maybe don't get the attention that they deserve because you have to wade through a bunch of other crappy games to get to them. It's not as bad as The App S...

I would say that Ballmer as CEO of the whole company was more of a financial boon for the Xbox division than Mattrick. Ballmer seems to have gotten every part of the ship working better.

"c mon m8.. sony is to busy talking about the ps4 to waste time talking about the xbox one."

Did you miss the part of their E3 conference where they went out of their way to announce no DRM, no check-ins, and no used game restrictions AKA to say that they wouldn't be doing what Microsoft was doing (at the time)? Or perhaps you missed that video about how to share PS4 games with your friends?

I know all about buying a console for one game (at least at first). I got my PS3 specifically for Metal Gear Solid 4. Obviously, that isn't the only game I've bought since then, but it was the major selling point for me, as I already had a 360 at the time.

Same thing happened previous gen - got an original Xbox for Halo 2, despite already having a PS2. I loved the online of LIVE so much that I got the 360 near launch.

Sometimes it only takes one game ...

Maybe Microsoft feels that they are offering more than just specs to justify their cost? I mean, you might not find it worth the extra 100 bucks, but other people will.

"Just gonna run damage control on every comment that's not pro-Xbox, aren't you?"

This, coming from one of the biggest propagators of anti-Xbox comments.
