I'd like to see Kratos on PS4 as well, but I'm hoping for a new setting. There were rumblings about a switch to Roman times, but I would love to see Norse mythology come in. Maybe even a modern take. many possibilities!
Finally! I have never owned a PSP and I wanted this!
@georgeenoob
"Like the sixaxis right?"
I'll admit that the SixAxis wasn't really utilized well for the most part. However, it was absolutely perfect in Flower. That game would have lost a lot of it's awesomeness if it used stick controls instead of SixAxis.
The Aerosmith/Nuke scene from the recent preview was brilliant. My favorite from The Third was the Helicopter dive to Power by Kanye West. Epic stuff.
Nice to see TLOU of us still doing well. But where the hell did Halo 4 come from???
Xanadu something?
Unlimited ridiculousness!!!
@PSVita
"You're misunderstanding his point because you can still possibly buy a third party controller without it and you don't need to worry about your system not working. Also it's not costing any extra unlike kinect. If Sony said the ps4 will be $100 more because of the touch pad, you might have a point...but you don't."
You're kind of making my point for me and disproving your own.
If I don't want to use...
I'm more integrated in the onboard streaming, to be honest. I already have a Hauppauge for capture, and using editing software on my computer allows me a lot more options and flexibility.
However, it's a cool feature if you want to save some kind of epic kill or something. I wouldn't expect Red VS Blue though.
@N7Lukas
"It comes down to choice, we should CHOOSE if we want something, not have it forced."
I do not want a touchpad on my PS4 controller. I want to be able to use a controller that does not have a touchpad. I did not choose to have this touchpad on the controller - I was forced.
Or I could just not buy a PS4.
"The funny thing is that no web based video player will be able to show the real beauty of next-gen games. Yes, we got to that point!"
I know, right? We've come a long way from two vertical bars bouncing a square back and forth across the TV screen in monochrome.
I was kinda hoping 1080p, but it is what it is. The 30FPS doesn't bother me as much because YouTube (where I upload my gaming videos) is limited to that anyway and it would just be wasting storage space on the HDD.
@ShwankyShpanky
Anybody can create an Xbox forums account.
Also I didn't say that it didn't happen - I said that it was a rumor propagated MOSTLY by the pro-Sony crowd. I've seen numerous posts of people trying to add 10 million or more sales to the 360 total because of these impatient rebuyers. It's bull, plain and simple.
@Kevlar009
The problem is that a significant portion of indie games are merely ripoffs of other indies or more popular games. For every Minecraft, there are 100 Blockcrafts and similar "me toos". And how many more temple run or dual stick shooters do we need?
I do agree that some indies are innovative and/or quality experiences, but the relatively few that we have heard about are outnumbered substantially by the ones that we really don't need to...
@stuna1
"Because a large amount of people didn't want to wait for their consoles to be repaired, especially if a high profile game had come out, like say "Call of Duty"! So most opted to buy brand new consoles."
I have heard people spouting this off for years and its ridiculous. First of all, there is absolutely no documentation to support this claim - only anecdotal "evidence" that comes mostly from the pro-Sony people. If a...
How did this even get approved? This should be a comment on an appropriate article, not an article itself.
@iamnsuperman
"I have never understood this point. The big difference between the two (from what I experienced on the PS3 and 360) was the 360 just had cross game chat and Sony managed to mess up their store with an update. Honestly (ignoring those differences) the end experience is the same"
The big difference for me was interactivity and connectivity. Yes, cross-game chat comes into that. But also cross-game invites. Hell - game invites that actua...
Double Helix is third party.
I don't know why Microsoft can't do anything to improve their console without people comparing it to Sony.
Is 853MHz better than 800MHz, even if it only means 2-4 frames per second in terms of improvement? YES. So who cares what it is in relation to Sony?
Besides - some people act like the difference between X1 and PS4 graphics is going to be comparable to the one between an Atari 2600 and a high end PC of today. Can't we just enjoy each console...
Fanboys take offense to people buying both - some of the more extreme ones hate multiple console owners more than people who solely choose the opposite console, like there is some kind of betrayal involved by seeing the positives in both.
It's almost a parallel to racism and hate groups.
