So why cut the price and lose another billion or two trying to get the bottom feeder consumers who don't buy much software anyway. No price cut is a smart financial move by Sony right now. They can focus on the bottom feeders WHEN they can sell the PS3 hardware for a profit that's when you want the bottom feeders because at that point it doesn't matter if they buy software or not.
Losing money to attract bottom feeders is a bad strategy, just ask Toshiba about their $99 HD-DV...
I wouldn't count on it. When the first Dead Rising came out there was no PS3. I'm sure the exclusive agreement was cheap maybe just to keep it off the PC. Looking at DMC4 sales the PS3 version actually sold more and both versions sold over 1 million. The price to keep Dead Rising 2 exclusive is going to cost multiples of what the first one did. I'm not saying MS can't pull it off but its not gonna be cheap to reimburse Capcom for 500k to 1 million unsold copies.

Back to the companies that paid the "high" royalty rates? I doubt it. I don't particularly like MS but this is just a shake down by the EU. But MS should be use to it by now. 360 has better placement of the analog sticks. Anyone else play a twin stick shooter and have their left and right thumbs hit each other? That's a bit jarring when playing something like Stardust HD where one false move could end up killing you.
360 left and right triggers are more responsive.

Achievements are required to get certification from MS just like Sony will require it in the future. So your wrong. Infinity Ward had to include achievements if they wanted to sell the game on the 360.
