The Elite you would hope would go down to $399. But who knows with MS. They only dropped the Elite $30 last time they dropped the Pro by $50.
So unless Europe is getting screwed that's a typo. Good to know there will be DLC though definitely gonna pick this game up.
you can bet the Wii version is just a port of it. So highly doubtful it will look much better then the ps2 version.
Looks like the Marvel games from Raven Soft. Anyone explain how its different or better then those games? I like the Marvel games a lot but I don't see the type of reaction for those games that I am seeing for this game so I'm just wondering.
But watching the demo how is this any different or better then the X-men/Marvel Alliance games from Raven Soft?
Retailers were giving away $50 gift cards for buying GTA 4 and any 360. It didn't move any extra units at all. While a straight price cut should increase sales some I'd be willing to bet its not nearly as much as some of you think.
Just have to wait until the paid exclusivity time in the US is closer to expiring before Namco can talk about it ala Bioshock.
Powerstone please!
Its good to get a review once in a while from a fresh perspective. Someone who isn't "in" the industry following the development of the game and watching every trailer that was released for the last few years. They are professional writers so they can at the very least clearly express their opinions. I agree with you about blogs though because most of them are poorly written.
Sega Sammy's market cap is still around $2.7 Billion. Which means MS would probably have to offer 3 billion plus. If MS hasn't even made an offer to Buy Take Two for around 2 billion I doubt they would spend that kind of money on Sega. What would MS do with a Pichiko machine business anyway? Which is Sammy main business. If MS were gonna buy Sega they would have done it before the merger in 2k4.
Thats a shame I would have loved for them to use that excuse again. It would have been classic.
I own both systems but I favor the PS3 a lot more. The RROD and paying to play online has just left a really bad taste in my mouth. But I agree with you. MS doesn't seem committed to staying in the industry. When Motorstorm got good reviews and sold well Sony wasted no time in buying them. But MS has just stood there and watched second party devs get eaten up. It doesn't make much sense unless they want to keep their options open for a exit from the industry.
Most retailers were offering a $30 to $50 gift card with the purchase of a 360 and Grand Theft Auto. And they still were outsold by the PS3. June is just gonna get worse with the return of the 80gb ps3, Metal Gear solid 4 and the $100 gift cards Walmart and Bestbuy are offering. Time to drop the price MS.
According to NPD numbers the ps3 outsold the 360 by 25k and 10k the first 2 months of the year. While the 360 has outsold the PS3 by 5k and 1k units in March and April. So yes according to NPD data the author of this article is off his rocker.
Metal Gear Solid games have averaged about 5 million copies sold each game. Which would be more then half of the 8 million Halo 3 sold. Considering Sony is bundling it with ps3s in Japan, Europe and the US it will probably sell an additional 2 mill copies bundled before Sony removes them. Its up to you if you want to count those.
within a 10 mile radius of SF dont you? I'd say considering 9 stores were in the area, 75 to 100 people showing up at a Gamestop on a weekday at midnight ain't too shabby.
But I think it was Dead Rising that was the Gateway sandbox game for me. Since then I've played and finished Saints Row, Crackdown, GTA4 and Bully. I have to admit I have learned to really enjoy them. In a way they are like RPGs since your character powers up as you progress through the game. BTW love School Rumble so bubble for you.
Halo Crossing?
Halo Xtreme Volleyball: Do the Dew. Sponsored by Moutain Dew
The Legend of Cortanna: A Data Stream to the Future?
Perfect Dark Merc Party?
Seriously though I'd like to see a Dead Rising 2 on both or either system.
is ridiculously short. Thats usually how long it takes to get accustomed to the game. Plus a cliff hanger for an ending? Thats just bad, bad, bad. For example I just finished Mass Effect and logged 45 hours...
