How many years have the fans wanted a remake? Instead SE throw some other semi-related, sub-par games and films our way with a back-handed promise of a remake if we buy it all?
The way SE are with their RPGs, I'm amazed they've waited this long to just remake a classic, which will invariably make sales. Capcom's been doing it for years with Street Fighter, why not them?
They've only spent 7 years making Wake, you can't expect them to finish it!
That's the one. I loved that game, Age of Booty's a good reminder of it, but I'll agree it's not as good. The AI of the enemies in the PS1 version was a hell of a lot better to start with. I guess Capcom got lazy and though most people would play it online, so they didn't put so much effort into it.
Another similar game was LAPD: Future Cop for the PS1, on PSN at the moment - same capture the bases mechanic, and utterly time consuming :D
The Heavy Rain DLC was already released, unless you mean apart from the Taxidermist.
If you have the special ed, the code to get the DLC, Soundtrack and Theme should all work once the store has updated.
Age of Booty for £4 is very tempting.
It reminded me of a PS1 game with the same setting and gameplay (capture pirate forts), but AoB's AI is completely stupid, always doing the most obvious thing (so outwitting it isn't so much a thrill as just par for the course).
With all the free map packs availiable I'm sold :D

How I wish they were on a machine I owned! ;_; MS havn't been kind to Rare, and I used to love their games, but they're not the powerhouse they once were. Natal may indeed be what they need.
Why do we think they'd acknowledge its defeat?
I'd believe it if it were coming from Bungie, John Carmack or hell, even Peter Molyneux. They are critical to the industry... but Rare are dinosaurs not yet extinct.
Are there people who still think KZ2 had controller lag, and not just slower aiming?
Seriously, if you can't get used to controls, you shouldn't be playing video games. I loved the aiming in KZ2, it meant you had to actually use your head rather than just hope you'll get lucky.

Yes, we get it. Sly Racoon was awesome, and he remained so for 3 games. Now we have inFAMOUS, and I'd rather an inFAMOUS 2 than a Sly 4.
