I'm sorry... I just had a crazy moment and I thought you just wrote that inFAMOUS (a game featuring a catastrophe-born electrical man) is not a superhero game?
Perhaps you need to broaden your comic book collection to include stuff outside of Marvel and DC?
It doesn't detract credit from them either. Easily impressed people are impressed by truly impressive things, as well as anybody else.
The comment was about Cliffy, not Naughty Dog. Please try not to be so defensive that you forget how the English language works.
It's good to have a competition, we get better games out of it... but it's not like Cliffy has always been the quiet one, is it?
CliffyB gets confident when he has milk with his cereal. He's very easily impressed.
1) Slot-loading DVD Drive.
2) SILENT cooling fan.
3) No RROD would be lovely.
4) PATA/SATA Hard Disk compatibility
5) Built in Wireless
It's all I ask Microsoft, and it's stuff your competitors have been doing since day 1, if not last gen.
Were it not for Batman: Arkham Asylum, I believe it would have been the best Superhero game of the last decade.
It's certainly better than X-Men Ledgends and Ultimate Alliance.
@decimalator
Maybe 3rd will allow you to import your character from the Freedom series?
@poontab
Yeah, that only works if you're 10. And even then it's a bodge for horrible camera controls. It's just easier to get pretty good with the nipple, then tap the L button to centre. I only use the d-pad when aiming a bow.
Seems fair, I know a few people who buy the one game, then take advantage of the "trade this game in, get this new game for £10" deals.
Nobody but the stores benefit from that, so the more incentive they have to buy new, even when it hits the bargain bins can't be a bad thing.
I wouldn't say it's a completely new game. It features more changes than Freedom Unite had over Freedom 2, but it's not that big a jump from FU.
But I'd love a proper "Next Gen" version, not just for the visuals... imagine if the whole world were open like in Shadow of the Colossus or Oblivion, with changeable seasons.
Make it happen CAPCOM, and we'll love you!
But No Fallout 3, Bayonetta, GTAIV?
The article should be called "Top 25 Games of this Gen I've played"
But I'm happy with Freedom Unite, until a real "next gen" version is released for PS3/360.
I keep asking myself the same question.
This... I can't... It's not like he can't google, is it?
The BladeRunner game perfectly captured the essence, atmosphere, and even the ambiguous "Am I/Am I not an Replicant?" ending.
No doubt he'll list Street Fighter, Indiana Jones, and Tomb Raider, next.
Coming soon...
I mean... I haven't downloaded this, and am not waiting to listen to the fine brass and vocal driven soundtrack ;)
Try conjecture and anecdotal evidence.
Their "Truth"? "It can be lagging... depending... We're not really sure... could just a a remnant of demo code." *shrugs*
Why on earth would you pre-order a digital distribution. Aside from the server being saturated when everybody tries to download the same game, I don't think this will happen here, and it's not like they'll run out of copies!
It's been there for ages, and Freedom Unite.
Let me get this straight, a Superhero for you cannot originate from a video game?
That makes no sense. Especially since you seem to have no problem with the No 1. on the list Freedom Force, which is not based on any comic.
What about Harley Quinn? I guess you just plain don't like her since she originated in a cartoon? What about Darkman, originated on Film. Or are Cartoons and Movies cool by you, and are part of the "acceptable list of Superhero Media"? <...
