Extortionate price. But SONY do not set non-sony game prices.
That would be THQ deciding that RRP means Actual Price when online.
The sad thing is that the guys running PSN Blog know these companies are just not getting digital distribution, but SONY will still throw Infamous 2 online for £50. I don't know many high-street shops that will sell it for more than £45, if not £35.
Opinions and Kids are like farts. You'll only like your own.
But the reviewer looses credibility for me by using the term "generic". Really? Cell-Shaded robots all look like all the other Cell-Shaded Robots, what a remarkable observation.
There are Three games on that list that are genuinely over looked: Valkyria Chronicles, Folklore (one of my personal faves), Enslaved.
Two of the other three sold into the millions.
She is gorgeous, especially in the earlier scenes where the actors are allowed to express themselves more (apart form just generic yells and screams).
They captured her vulnerability well.
The man is such a tease. He's created some of the best games you can play, and he's wasted the last few years on those damn rabbids.
If games like Read Dead Redemption, Oblivion, can "bring us that horizon", then why the hell can't Ancel do that for this gen?
Kinda hope they're just saying that for marketing reasons.
Besides the fact I'm not ready to play in 3D, I don't think TVs are ready since we still need glasses to make it work.
Nice! If you like that sort of stuff, I guess.
What the hell does the Confederacy have to do with the declaration of independence of America?
Even as a Brit I know it has something to do with defeating Aliens with a Macintosh laptop, and Will Smith punching things in the form of a greeting.
Need to play more games...
A really cracking game. I was impressed by it, but let down by it's length, and the pacing of the second half.
Looking forward to their next game.
PS3 might see them, as it has seen player generated content with Little Big Planet 1 and 2, and Infamous 2. But SONY wouldn't allow it unless there was an in-game, easy to use editor, which the previous Elder Scrolls games have lacked (opting for a separate editor).
They'd also insist that Bethesda host the content (much how MM hosts LBP, and Sucker Punch hosts Infamous 2 content), so they don't have to pay the fees. this would also limit the complexity of mods. ...
If SONY offered it only as a subscription, Kotick would be all over it.
Translation: "Until we can figure out how to sell you all the same songs again."
Oh Activsion, after many same-ish Call of Duty and Spider-Man games, we know Innovation is the furthest thing from your mind.
You know what would be great?
If Rage goes "Released"!
Hurry up already! Rage was revealed the same year as Borderlands.
They're all clones.
Id doesn't mean variation, it means quicker voice recording sessions.
From the amount of Final Fantasy fans who always bitch about the latest FF game not being exactly like their favorite in the series, I'd say there was a hell of a lot of demand.
I'm not even a fan, but I'd buy a collection of updated gaming history.
Just about brings it about part with the visuals of the first Unreal game.
Compared with what you do with your time, I'm sure this is orders of magnitude more impressive.
I miss the old days.
When developers would work on a game AFTER release, either to add to the game in some way or improve the core gameplay.
These days we get get some buggy expansion for a Bethesda franchise, or worse, a game released half finished, with the developers giving us free DLC in the form of "the rest of the game" (Looking at you Burnout Paradise).
Well with riveting games like Virtual Tour: Ancient Jerusalem, and Dying of Malaria in Africa, Ubisoft must know what they're talking about!
Hell, Assassin's Creed and Far Cry 2 are the only games I can think of they published in the last few years. Yup, a new generation will definitely improve this lot's games!
