You can find Remastered HD versions of Sly Racoon 1-3 all togehter for $40 on e-bay?

You are some kind of sorcerer!

Wow... It's like you didn't read the my post at all!

I only say BC is inferior to remakes because of my experience with Game Cube games once I bought a Wii.

Honestly, I don't want Backwards Compatibility. I think Sony should be concentrating on more useful things. Why?
1) The PS2 remains the most popular console on earth
2) The PS2 is still selling games and hardware
3) I, like most people interested in PS2 games, already h...

But there are far too many people rating that think anything less than 5 means it's absolutely crap!

C'mon people, Ratings don't mean anything if everything is scored between 4, 4.5, and 5. Use the 1, 2, 3s!

It gives users a chance to catch up on the previous generation, for a fraction of the cost.

SONY only need to release a few more series, and you'll practically have the best 10-20 games that Playstation 2 offered. Sure there are always hidden gems, but I think I prefer a a higher definition, repackaged, collection with added bonuses than simply giving us BC - then we'd have to go out and find all those games games anyway.

Do you know how much nerd co...

PSN has no games I want for $50 a year
I'm happy to pay to play online, even though XBL still uses P2P connections.

The fanboy is strong with this one.

If you have them, you must already have a PS2.
If you don't have them, you can buy HD collections on PS3.

Why people getting so entitled that they think studios owe them free updates to games released years before? Head in Ass syndrome.

PSN+ will give SONY loads of money without compromising the current, complete PSN service.

But Gold membership status has become almost a placebo now, I doubt many subscribers would want it to go free, for fear it might lose it's appeal.

Instead they should provide further incentive to join: more discounts, a free game, or perhaps inclusive membership to any MMOs that happen on the console. I'd sign up immediately if 360 equivalent of World of Warcraf...

Milo and Jason do look eerily similar... and we didn't see any of Milo after Heavy Rain was released!

I think you're on to something!

Somebody replaced that digital Frisbee, with a digital buzz-saw, and well... we've all played Half Life 2.

They made Milo so realistic, he was actually mortal, and it'll take another 10 years to grow another.

Makes more sense than the to'ing and fro'ing from MS and everybody else!

Beyond the fact the article has no sources of information, just "he said, she said", what tax breaks do American companies get? Dependant on state, right? I'd imagine the companies that benefit from any sort of tax relief are few and far between.

Won't the recent Corporation tax cuts help all businesses?

Also it's perfectly obvious consumers are happy to play "Guitar Hero 15" over the next beautiful, artistic and innovative gam...

Sandbox: Dwarf Fortress, G-Mod, Little Big Planet.
Open-world: GTA, Saints Row, RDR.

The difference is that in a Sandbox, it's up to you to build the sand castle. In an open-world, it's already there.

Thanks for playing, you can go back to mouth breathing now.

Making fun of people who are actually clever and stuff, lol.

Sure it may extent the lifetime of each console, but the Wiimote+ hasn't exactly taken off for Nintendo either.

SONY's solution is better priced because it's easier to justify ~£50 per person playing, than a one off £140. It's only £100 more to get a PS3 bundle!

But they both have an uphill battle. What they need to do is state that there will be no new consoles for 3-5 years yet, at least then punters won't mind spending ~&...

It's open-world.

Yes there is a difference, but I don't think you'll understand or care, so sucks to be you :D

I couldn't go online, but I could resist for a day.

it's wasn't THAT big a deal.

You'll probably love it in HD.

But by today's standards it is limited, and hasn't aged as well as other platformers.

The others though are pure SONY games so there wouldn't be much licensing involved in a re-release.

I often play under-scoring games more often than perfect scoring games. Even though they're not as polished, you tend to get more game time out of them.
