I was a little disappointed when playing the demo, and realising the game looks only marginally better than the original on PC, several years ago.
Even Pandemic made The Saboteur look and play slightly better on PS3 using an experimental for of AA, whilst maintaining a high-standard on 360.
Reward those who actually buy new at retail, rather than punish everybody with held-back DLC that's announced on launch day or before?
StarDock did an amazing job with Galactic Civilisation II - No DRM, just requiring registration key to access patches which significantly added to to the game, not just fixes.
There were moments in the game that were a 9/10 (Climbing down the side of a building, shooting up a boardroom, then escaping on the streets), but they were few and far between, and the cover system, and recoil on every single weapon was diabolical.
The fan reaction, and that of other magazines was ridiculous. 6/10 means Fair or OK, it does not mean WORST GAME EVAH! But then I'm the kind of person that actually uses the whole 1-10 system, and don't rely on 7-10.
They've released 3 Ratchet & Clank games, and 2 Resistance games (currently working on the third). 6 games this gen, and they don't get a mention? All the games were reviewed well.

The sad thing is that I (and many many other folk) would actually pay £5 for the cut content in DLC.
