Bioware and it's employees have been making games for longer than you've been alive.
I hate to tell you this, but they have a better idea of what makes a good video game, than you do.
Somebody needs to look at other markets than one auction site.
I though of it as the continuation of the point & click adventures. I'd love to see more P&C adventures done in a similar way.
But you can't help people for loving Heavy Rain, whilst the RPG and FPS were very much alive when Final Fantasy VII and Halo arrived on the scene, there haven't been many high-profile Interactive Fiction or Point and Click Adventures in a long while (even the big ones like Sam & Max, and Monkey Island have been done in low-budg...
Fingers crossed!
Let it go, people. Nothing to troll here. If you didn't like it, go play something else, but don't try and pretend other people didn't have fun playing it.
But don't be disheartened mac-boys and girls. He's putting you down but merely encouraging you to create!
Funny how newer generations are molly-coddled into thinking some stern encouragement is miserable bullying. Grow up!
By comparrison every other game felt like it was being played on ice.
Thanks to all those whiny Call of Duty players so casual they couldn't learn a new control scheme. You are shining examples of gamers.
They gave a 9/10 for a game everybody else was giving 10/10 and calling Game of the Year.
A 7/10 might have seemed a bit too obvious. But if you're still not convinced, go ahead and read the study posted by a few folks in the comments, how Edge tend to differ from their contemporaries.
It'd say brainfart, but no I didn't. Sorry.
It's a glorified Slideshow, each image on a new page with a load of adverts. If you feel the need to swell your 360 balls, then by all means look but for god's sake take an add-blocker with you!
It'll be a First Person Jumper Like Mirror's Edge, but set in a dark gritty fantasy world where turtles are evil, and mushrooms don funny things to your perspective.
Oh Jesus, I practically described the awful 3D Sonic games :\
A bit mediocre by Edge's own 7-10 review scale on 360 games.
They should adopt the 1-7 review scale they use for PS3 games.
But that's what Yakuza is!
If you haven't played a Yakuza game I'd highly recommend it if you liked Shenmue.
Since SEGA are quite happy to churn out Yakuza game after Yakuza game every year or so, it might be your only chance for a contemporary Japanese game.
So we're just making Sonic games now,

Don't get me wrong, I loved Portal. It's exactly the kind of adrenaline shot the video game industry needs.
The problem was that I played it about a year after it's release. And doing so, having put up with all the hype, I felt a little cheated by the end. Same deal with Braid, yes it's pretty, sounds nice, with some lovely puzzles, but apparently adding verses of prose before each level makes it incredible and artistic.
Let's not forget t...
Portal 1 was overrated. We're still hearing "The Cake is a Lie" jokes for crying out loud.
Being overrated doesn't mean it was bad, just praised more than it perhaps should have been. It was a 4 hour tutorial for a game that didn't start.
I have a pool of reviews I read, Destructoid is one of them, even though Sterling has a misconceived notion on fair reviewing.
He does point out the flaws in a game when he's worked up, which I want to hear about as much as the good things (of which all the other 9/10 reviews talk about nothing but).
He was annoying and needy, but that's what made his story so great later in the game!
Not sure who to believe!
Thanks, reviewers!
Thanks for buying our game. Fuck you.
Sincerely,
