This has nothing to do with bandwidth. These are cards that have a code to redeem on Xbox Live.
You still need to download the games on your own 360.
So I have to begrudgingly agree with "Yawn", it's actually more complicated than simple £XX amount Live/PSN voucher cards.
Free Stacking for PSN+ member on Day 1??!
Sold!
Or, rather, Downloading!
What did you expect from "the Examiner". The articles posted here are either "Quick look at the screen shots only we and the rest of the press are allowed to show", or useless new trivia.
"DOOM 3 solidified iD as a paragon of cutting edge graphics"
Where "cutting edge", read "pitch black".
But seriously, id Software's done more for graphics than any other company. Looking forward to Rage.
Somebody's bitter.
How is KB a douche? It was pretty funny what he tweeted, and perhaps he did it to expose Sony America's current action as idiocy?
Well done that man.
I think another HD-DVD Code day coming up. You can't copyright a number, SONY. Ask Toshiba/Microsoft.
Prepare for Digg to be nothing but Numbers.
Why not just try and make it as good as Baldur's Gate 1 to start with, then get cocky.
Cyberpunk?
Catsuit?
Sold.
Alpha Protocol was stable, but it was still uninspired, unbalanced and littered with bugs.
I still have a soft spot for Obsidian, though I wish they would just start the QA process in their games sooner than "Oh Crap! We have a month before the release, better start testing!!
If you're dedicate to keep trading in, sure you're quids in - you only really need the initial investment of $40 or so, then just a quid here and ther to get the other games.
But your friends will be able to play their games past the 10 day refund period, and you wont.
What do you do with long games like RPGs, or even ones with multiplayer?
If you're happy to stop playing them, then that's fine (good for you for finding a hole...
That's actually not a bad point.
These collections are mainly cash-ins from those lazy folk at Ubisoft.
They may be in HD, but the interface and CGI movies looks horribly date.
>Can DVD-9 cater three games on one disk
Doubtful
The PS3 version installs itself to HD, as three seperate games (as if you had bought them via PSN). I think they take about 15gb in total, so it would need at least 2 DVDs, 3 if they wanted to maintain high DVD reading speeds.
You're missing the point that the games have already been remastered - POP Trilogy is on PS3 in EU now.
This has nothing to do with how difficult it is, it is a business decision, and how much money they can make.
HD collection makes sense on PS3 because there's no PS2 backwards comparability. Why bother releasing it on 360 when dedicated fans (the kind who would buy this) might already have the games in the original Xbox format?
Parents, Grandparents, people who want to get credit for old games.
The 2nd hand market pretty much keeps high-street game stores in business, it's at least half of their profits.
Dude, calm down. The Writer said as much in the article. Did you read it?
He said from his experience he'd sold more casual games, than the likes of Fable 3 or Halo.
Nobody is taking a dump on you or your precious hardcore games, they're still number 1 in your book.
Number 1 was news about a year ago.
UK shoppers really don't have much of a fair market when it comes to games.
But if you aren't already shopping online where prices are always cheaper (even compared to high-street "sale" prices), then you can't be surprised when the likes of Game and Gamestation rip you off - they're there to take advantage of Parents who have yet to shop online.
ESRB rated does not mean a release will happen for a while, if ever.
I seem to recall even Duke Nukem Forever was rated several times.
Though it would be foolish not to release then, it depends in MS already has the originals on the their store.
Good god!
Another meta-review?
If we wanted Fan Fiction we would look for it, what we want is a review!
2 NBA games, really?
Pretty standard list otherwise. Hardly worth writing.
Take your time, Rockstar.
There needs to be a gap between GTAs so we can play so many imitators that we truly appreciate a new GTA.
And a GTA needs to have so much that by the end of playing, we can't wait to play an imitator!
It's the circle of life!
