It's a fair point. Every game should have an autosave. Nothing like every 5 minutes, or anything. But My main gripe with some games is that I have to replay some sections over and over again, and unlike Demon's Souls it just isn't fun after the first time.

For that matter, get rid of the "Do not turn off console whilst you see this icon", if you're stupid enough to turn off whilst saving, you deserve to loose the save.

I loved Far Cry 2 and Final Fantasy XIII, I enjoyed Lair whilst it lasted, and I'd prefer playing Operation Flashpoint 2 than any of the Call of Duty games.

Article picks games with scores of 4-7/10 and decides (without explination) than they are all bad. Well fuck that.

If you can sum up a game in greater granularity than GOTY or SHIT! then do not read this article, and make your own minds up.

I don't think I've ever seen a man so happy it's flooding outside.

And not a single source sited. Thanks for your opinions.

But one, I may add I know is false. BluRay in general is not slower than DVD. A BluRay 1x speed drive can read and write data significantlty faster than a 1x speed DVD drive.

The confusion comes in when you see that the PS3 has a 2x Speed BR drive, and the 360 a 16x Speed. The 16x DVD speed is faster than the 2x BluRay, but not always.

You see BluRay has a constant reading speed. It doe...

The DLC is on the disk version too...

But, the Gamebryo engine has always been 3D.

Did we get sent back to the early 90's where every 2nd sequel had to have a 3D suffix?

Even in the high-street you'll pay at most £45. I've already seen a price war onine begun for less than £40.

What the fuck are Bioware and their publisher thinking? They're the one to dictate the price.

I think Valve know a thing or two about piracy - it's why they created Steam to begin with.

Yeah, in a world where not even half gamers have a broadband connection, players are really going to see a difference between wireless g and n speeds.

Ignoring the fact the original 360 didn't even have a wireless adapter built in, of course.

W.T.F.

This looks random enough to be worth a look!

Shame it's just one Wii.

You own the device, but not the software - that's licensed to you.

If you do not agree with the usage policy, you have two legal options:

1) Don't use the device
2) Remove the software all together and replace it with a free or open source one you do agree with.

I'm glad something like this can happen to a company like Activision, I'm just not convinced anybody it being serious about this being an unfinished game.

I imagine most of the people who complained are still probably playing it daily, despite it being "not good enough".

Under UK law, you can return a game if it is broken or faulty, however your claim for a refund may be damaged if you continue to use the product.

Mortal Kombat vs DC?

Really? That's ONE of the best games involving a DC license. If that's the case, DC really need to pull their finger out!

He can do anything!

Seriously, he should have gotten this whilst Bullfrog was still around. His work since has been seriously lacking.

Well forever is a long time, so well done to PC Mag for creating an infallible argument... ignoring that human kind probably won't be around "forever", either.

If nobody releases a new console, there is no need to compete. PC gamers only upgrade to support a new game, but what if the games never pushed past the limits of a machine?

Plus console manufacturers (unlike PC manufacturers) charge a license for games to appear on their console. Microso...

Oh certainly a new engine can add many benefits, but if it's using older assets, there isn't a lot more it can do with them except maybe add a bit more post-processing like shaders or antialiasing.

But I wager Bioware ported ME2 to the new engine as some practice for ME3.

I bet it gets shipped with a "golf peripheral".

Which, coincidentally is what most of us think when we think of New THQ games!

Using a newer engine with older assets isn't really going to get you a performance or graphical boost.

Much like how looking at a Word 95 document in in Office 2007 doesn't look any different.

Having said that, they look pretty identical. I'll wait for the Digital Foundry comparrison, they at least explain their findings.
