I think this might be worth a replay.
I played it on PC years ago, and it just crashed out on me - or I think it did - unless it has a really abrupt ending.
"Both movies cost the same to see in a theater."
Exactly, the cinema determines the price, but can seek a better price for the books. Why should I then pay the same original amount for 2 games I will own?
I think we're discussing two different things here. I think the the RRP should be variable per game, not the selling price.
9)Halo
I just... Where's that gun? I only need the one bullet.
Well my point, and the point of the article is not about the arbitrary $60 R.R.P.
It's about pricing a game what it's worth. Not just because all the other games are published with the same RRP.
Edit: Yes, which means a game that has half the content as another should surely cost half as much?
Price you game according to it's worth!? She's a witch! A Witch! Burn Her!
No, actually. That's a bloody good idea. I wonder how many more sales in the first couple of weeks a game would get were publishers to drop the price of a game by just $5?
# Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon (2011)
# Dark Souls (2011) Dark Souls (2011)
Oh hell yeah!
@The Meerkat
Why on earth would xbox fanboys "take up the slack".
Are they that retarded they would buy products they don't need just to stick it to the ps3 fanboys?
This should certainly get sales up. People always want what they can't have!
True.
Also the phrases:
"In [insert game name here], you can do anything!"
"We've added a multiplayer component to the sequel"
"It'll be done when it's done"
Work wonders too.
1) Obtain boobs
2) Tell people you are a developer

@Krimmson
Ah, yeah - I get those confused. But be it Team Ninja or Ninja Theory, neither come as close to Team Ico than TGC.
In my book anyway.
Stunning comment of a stunning article of stunning prices that stun with a stunning stun stun! STUNNING!!
That's it. Used my quota of that word up of the day.
Used games for a low price?
Holy crap! Get me the president!
www.cheapassgamer.com for those who want a deal of a new game.
What I'm supposed to be happy these idiots want to appear in a TV show audience?
Grow up, it's an opinion.
By definition, if you're going to somebody else's show, you are the unimportant person.
The audience on most TV shows would go wild if you dangled keys in front of them saying 'Jangly-Jangly-Jangly'
These are people with (and without) jobs unimportant enough so that on their day off, their idea of "not being a couch potato and watching TV all day" is appearing on said TV instead.
Whilst I'd love that to be true, Team Ninja lack a certain spirituality in their games that Team Ico thrive on.
I would say ThatGameCompany (Cloud, Flow, Flower) is a closer contemporary - simple gameplay, beautiful environments, a higher message that doesn't choke the player who chooses to ignore it.
Well if there's one sure way to know it'll be a good game, it's that it's hyped to hell!
I'll wait for the game to decide, I think.
"The latest Cannon Fodder is coming XBLA and PC."
Your lack of confidence in PSN is disturbing. As a fan of the original, and old enough to play it on release, I'm glad there's new one coming out.
Provided it's as funny as the originals that is: Exploding 8x8x16bit pixels into bloody lumps was funny back then... but how funny will it be in HD, and with the war in Afganistan far from over?
But RRP is variable for other media:
