All game devs start with their ideas and a certain quality of graphics. As the production progresses and features are added sometimes that means other things need to be edited in order for the game to run well. Things are constantly changing throughout development.

I think that's a fair bet based on the original. But to be honest, I don't know what to expect anymore. I certainly wouldn't have expected a part that was only about 4 hours of gameplay in the original to take up 2 Blu Ray discs worth of space lol.
