They went with the characters they went with because they are all sidekicks or former sidekicks of Batman. And these are the most popular ones. They didn't do Cassandra Cain or Stephanie Brown because they are less known than Tim Drake. (Who is arguably the best Robin to ever wear the costume)

They didn't use Azrael because he's a huge wildcard that was never really Batman's sidekick.

They went with Barbara Gordon because she's the c...

Wolverine shouldn't even be in this game

Elden Ring made me not even care about Elder Scrolls 6. I hope it's great. Hell, I hope it's better than Elden Ring, even. But it won't be.

Most of the characters are out of place. Wolverine. Iron Man. Captain America. Captain Marvel. Magik. Spider-Man. Half the characters have never been in the Midnight Sons and don't even fit on the team thematically. And it's missing people like Morbeus and Elsa Bloodstone.

I still want to play this though.

"But it’s F2P, that’s the trade off."

Fair enough. Except the problem with F2P games is that they almost all end up milking the players for every little bit. Is it possible to not spend anything on them? Sometimes. But the grind is usually so ridiculous that you pretty much need to pay for things. Most players that stick with F2P games end up spending WAY more than the price of an actual game before its all said and done.

I don't know why everyone is acting like this is news. We've all known about this for years. It's called the Stadia.

What you're saying is 100% true and anyone that has taken a basic marketing class knows this.

But I think the problem here isn't the $45. It's the fact that they shouldn't be charging for this crap to begin with.

Lol, the game still isn't what it promised even today, over a year later. After being being pressured to fix it asap.

I don't know how releasing it in November, 2021 would have changed that. This article is seriously missing the point that it's been 22 months since it launched and we STILL don't have the game we were promised.

Lol. There never was worth while content for this game. Why would they start now?

Ninja Gaiden 3 happened, which was a terrible game. And as we know, it only takes one bad game to kill a franchise.

"Yes but do you remember how many patches Witcher 3 needed post launch?"

I do remember Witcher 3 needing a lot of patches. But I had it on PS4 day one, and it was still no where near as bad as Cyberpunk's launch. Witcher 3 was still very playable and fun. Since Cyberpunk came out I've seen a lot of people using this argument, bit it's not the same at all. Witcher 3 was still a fantastic game at launch, even if it ...

What do SJW's have to do with it?

1367d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Oh.....well that's an even bigger difference then. Remaster and remakes add things to the original. And not everyone played the originals, so a remaster gives them that opportunity, bit with enhancements. There are definite plus sides to having games remastered and remade. It's no where near the same thing as forcing people to pay extra for content or loot boxes.

They are not the same thing at all. Buying used games is like buying new cars. Not everyone wants to pay full price for games. Used games is an alternative.

Developers putting microtransactions in their games is a shady ass practice from the beginning. Especially games that force you to spend extra money in order to experience everything the game has to offer.

The argument can be made that Immortal is free. But is it really? If you have to buy loot boxes...

Yeah, after the outright lies they told about Immortal prior to launch, I don't believe a word they say.

You know what's crazy? I've got Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle on my phone. It's a gacha game, no question about it. However, I've had the game since launch 7 years ago. It's free to play. But it gives you PLENTY of gems (in game currency) just from playing the game. It's updated monthly, sometimes even sooner. And the percentage rate of getting rare and Legendary characters is fully acceptable. To the point that I have nearly all of the best characters in the game. And e...
