Spider-Man Homecoming was made by Marvel. Yes, it's technically a Sony film. But Marvel had all the control in that movie. For all intents and purposes, Spider-Man is ONLY an MCU character right now.

It's the reason why Sony is making this ridiculous "Spider-Man film universe" with no Spider-Man. They just made Venom, which does not have Spider-Man in it. They are making Morbius. Silver and Black, which is a Black Cat / Silver Sable film. And they are talk...

@ Foxtrot

No, Spider-Man being the most famous Marvel hero is definitely NOT an opinion.

When anyone thinks of the top 3 most worldwide, popular superheroes, its Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man.

It's not up for debate. Yes, the Marvel movies have brought the likes of Captain America and Iron Man up there too. Wolverine and Hulk are also very popular. But none of those 4 have the popularity of Spider-Man. He has been Marvel's po...

Yeah, you are confusing the systems. Super Nintendo had no way of putting the blood in it, and the fatalities were not violent either.

Why did it blow you away on console but not the arcade? The arcade version was better in every possible way. Better graphics and sound especially.

The first time I saw the arcade I couldn't believe what I was seeing. To be honest, as great it was to have it on consoles, I was a little disappointed because it didn't look nearly as good as the arcade version.

Uh......

Blaming Nintendo for violent video games getting the attention of politicians? What are you talking about?

Did Nintendo call up politicians and tell them there was a violent game like Mortal Mombat out there?

Don't be silly. Politicians would have been all over MK whether Nintendo held back the blood in MK1 or not.

To be fair Zelda BotW didn't really innovate anything. Nothing in that game was new to the genre at all.

It was still a fantastic game that I loved, mind you.

First of all, I have yet to downvote any of your comments. So again, assumptions...

Second, you're right. There is a lot more to FF games than combat. So I shouldn't have said its built around combat. However, combat is still a VERY large part of the game. One that you will definitely spend a very large part of the game doing. It's also an aspect that many people look forward to in these games.

Third: "Resident evil 7 was a huge change! ...

Now wait a minute. That's quite a big assumption you are making, not to mention over-simplification.

It's not a matter of everyone being afraid of change. And for you to call everyone that doesn't like FF past FFX as simple minded is again, very presumptuous on your part.

Let me prove you entirely wrong. I've been playing Resident Evil games since then original back in the 90's. When Resident Evil 7 came out, I gave it a chance and abs...

But.....why would I put all that time into a game that I'm not enjoying? A game's combat system isn't going to suddenly change. It is what it is and if you don't enjoy it, then nothing is going to change that

Why? You don't need to finish a game to know you don't like it.

Holy crap. I finally agree with chris235.

He's right. FFX was the last good FF.

I mean, it was doomed for me as soon as they came out with FF12 and stopped using a traditional turn based combat system.

Here's another article with quotes from Bungie saying they have a "10 year plan for expansions and the evolution of the franchise." They even mention plans of carrying over characters between sequels. This is from Dec, 2014.

If ANYONE can find something that has...

Do you have anything showing them say that Destiny 1 would be around for 10 years?

2852d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Also, in case that link I posted isn't enough for you, here's the actual Bungie-Activision contract that outlines the 4 game plan and the years they expected them to release in. Again, plans from 2012 that had since changed.

The plan was for 4 full retail games and 4 DLC, as appropriate. Basically meaning, they always had plans to develop sequels if they were warranted.

Keep in mind, that plan was from 2012. So things changed. You know, as plans tend to do.

Think about it. Destiny 1 was made on an old e...

Didn't Destiny 2 Forsaken release today? Lol

Lack of patience isn't always the case.

Some people just don't have the time to put in to unlock everything they want. So I don't have as much of a problem with someone wanting to spend some extra money to unlock all the guns in Battlefield, for instance. Especially since they will since they will never have the time to do it through normal gameplay.

Also, there are other MT's that aren't progress based. Like skins and crap like that ...

You're 100% correct. Which makes this whole comment even more ironic, coming from a sports game producer.

They literally use old engines and assets to make these games every year and simply add some new players and update the team rosters.

Man I hope you are right about level destruction in BF5. Bad Company 2 had the best level destruction of all time.

I loved when a building took too much damage and you could hear the metal girders bending and moaning right before the building collapsed.
