"No there was not ."
Great argument, buddy.
This game has absolutely none of my interest. It's a shame, because Kojima is responsible for a lot of my favorite games: Snatcher. Zone of the Enders. Metal Gear.
But lately he just comes off as extremely pretentious to me. And I've grown tired of it, because it really shows with the way he is building up this game so far.
The reveal trailer made me think of a bunch of stuck up art fans in an art museum trying to figure out some deep meaning behi...
The things that people are complaining about are not Bungie's doing. Its Activision.
The game itself is fantastic. The gameplay is solid and very fun. It's all the content being placed in DLC packs and locked behind paywalls that really sucks about this game. Releasing it piece by piece. That is all Activision's doing.
Destiny 1 is the only game me and my friends played for a year straight after it released. Sunk over 600 hours into it.
Despite its issues, Destiny offers one of the best co-op experiences in gaming today. The gameplay is fantastic and fun, as most people would agree. Its the other things that people get annoyed with.
But there were a LOT of people playing Destiny 1 for a very very long time because of that very reason. The co-opnis extremely fun. Waiti...
It most certainly does have matchmaking. The only thing there is no matchmaking for is when you go out into the world to do random things on planets. Also Raids. Although you can get Raid tickets and get placed on a team. So in a way there is a way to matchmake for Raids. Just not all the time.
Crucible and Strikes both have matchmaking as well. So really there is only one mode that you cannot do matchmaking for, and it just so happens to be the most boring part of the gam...
Judging someone based off of one small quote out of a comment that listed many good points kinda tells a lot about how simple minded you are.
"The movie rights and the video game rights are two totally separate entities."
I know but Marvel sold their Spiderman Movie rights to Sony and at present Marvel is using Spiderman and hence! Sony wanted the Spiderman game to be exclusive.. This has been all over the news and its Old.."
This Spider-Man video game started development in 2014. Which means the deal to start making it would have happened even earlier in 2014, maybe even 2013.
You just contradicted your whole point.
Yes. They approached Insomniac and gave them the choice to make a game based on any Marvel character they wanted. Insomniac chose Spider-Man.
If it had anything to do with the MCU deal, then it wouldn't have been a choice. It would have been, "Hey. Do you want to make a Spider-Man game?"
They chose Spidey for obvious reasons. He's easily in the top 3 of the most famous superheroe...
The Ordsr wasn't an FPS...
Glad to know that we can always come to you if we ever need to know what Sony is thinking.
I mean, they could have written the story so that there were civilians still in the city.
The point is, the game's environment suffers because the world just feels empty with nothing other than random enemies standing around.
The Batmobile itself was done well. It played well and looked cool.
What wasn't done right is basing so much of the game around using the Batmobile.
I don't know how you can say they felt alive in any of the Arkham games. There were no civilians in the streets in any of those games. Just enemies.
Lol.
I hope you are being sarcastic. What game doesn't get boring when everything is done? I mean really. What game do you keep playing when all of the missions are done and all you can do is run around in the world and fight random enemies that you're more than likely way more powerful than?
Also, you said "it looks fun". So I assume that means you haven't played it and really have no idea whether or not you get bored or if its over...
I don't remember Deathstroke in Arkham Knight. Wasn't it the Arkham Knight himself that you had to fight in a tank?
I mean.....its easy to see why I wouldn't remember since anything that could be considered a boss fight was done in the Batmobile in Knight.
To be fair the world felt empty in all of the Arkham games.
I agree. The Batmobile should have been nothing more than alternate mode of transportation. With maybe it being required to reach a section or two of the city, and maybe a boss fight.
But my favorite part of the Arkham games was always the boss fights and seeing what villains I was going to have beat down. Arkham Knight took that away by turning ALL the boss fights into Batmobile fights. Plus most of the puzzles. The Riddler stuff.
It was just too much. ...
Well...let's not pretend like Gotham wasn't created as a dark version of New York...
The amount of days it took to beat doesn't say much. How many hours did it take?
I remember reading that it would be around 18-20 hours if you don't do side missions.
If that's true then you can't really blame the game. Most single player games these days are 8-10 hours. So 18-20 is fantastic, comparatively speaking. Especially if you can do side missions and take your time to experience everything.
Hell, there's a ...
Really? I hope for your sake that you never start your own company. Because apparently you don't like money and wouldn't greenlight products or services that make you millions.
