And what's crazy is it's like they didn't learn anything from what just happened with EA and that Command Conquer mobile game announcement.
It's pretty much the same thing. A fan favorite franchise that hasn't had a mainline entry in years and years. Then when they made an announcement it was for a garbage mobile game.
Fans were table-flipping outraged by it. How did Blizzard think this was going to play out any differently?

Well, everyone is entitled to their opinions, but you are in a huge minority if you think PS4 is having one of its weakest gens, games-wise lol. They have been killing it this gen and putting out highly successful and loved games every year since launch.

It wasn't even a cross-gen game as it is only available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It's not on PS3 or 360.
Not necessarily. D3 sucked at launch because of the Auction House and how the loot RNG was purposely made to only give legendary and higher items at an extremely rare pace. Most players only found one legendary item in an entire play through. And that was so people would be forced to go spend real money in the Auction House.
The core gameplay itself hasn't changed that much. And Blizzard wouldn't make that same mistake again after seeing how successful D3 became aft...

I don't disagree with anything you said.
The fact is that MS releasing a year and a half early, and then Sony launching with a very high price led to MS taking a big lead early. It took most of the console generation for Sony to catch up and overtake them. That only happened because of what you are saying. Sony sold faster the whole generation. Mainly because of exclusives.
At first 360 had plenty of exclusives. But they stopped pushing those out towards the last half of the generation.
And yeah, I'm only comparing MS and Sony.
While that's true, let's look at last gen. Xbox almost won last gen. It wasn't until the very end that Sony pulled ahead, and a large reason for that is that MS just didn't have the exclusives.
So yeah, worldwide customers is very Important, but there are clearly other things that can lead to MS winning. Console launch timing and price as well as a steady stream of exclusives being chief among those things.
Xbox will not dominate. Even if it were to win next gen, it won't dominate the way PS4 did this gen.
Reasons it will not dominate:
1. PS4 is loved by a worldwide audience. Even if MS is the better console next gen, too many people love PS across the world. Hell, Xbox can't even sell in Japan, which is an big market.
2. Fallout from Xbox One. Too many people jumped ship from Xbox to PS before the consoles even launched this gen, simply bec...

This was easily my favorite game from E3. It was such a surprise too because it had flown totally under my radar before that.

I'm not a big Witcher 3 fan either. But that's because I can't stand the combat system. But I can't say it's boring and I'm not sure how anyone can. In the end it's an open world game. It's as exciting or boring as you make it lol.

A lot of the fun of RPG's for me is killing NPC's. I'll get a quest from an NPC, complete the quest, get my reward, then kill the NPC and take their loot. This especially fun when the Quest was to bring back a valuable object for the NPC. Then you can take the object from their dead body after collecting the reward for the Quest, plus their personal loot. It's like 3 times the reward.
And sometimes the NPC is actually powerful and puts up a good fight and dr...
